  2. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

  3. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

Possibly darker. It's really more about the actual tone or "hue" , to use a TV term
  4. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

They are close but not exact. On a cloudy day you won't see the difference. I would say about 90% match. My real world experience has been that no one notices until I pointed out to them. The weights are on the back. Being honest, I get more compliments on these wheels than any other wheels...
  5. Yet another goodbye

At least you didn't get an F-150. ;). Your selection looks good. I'm in a similar situation but have decided that I like my gladiator so much that I refuse to get rid of it until there is a (mandated?) electric version....even then. I'm solving my towing issues by making my wife get a bigger...
  6. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

There are weights on the back side that cant be seen. Ill try and get some better pictures with better light. The offset did make the stick just past the fenders which is why I bought the mud flaps....Those were expensive but made a huge difference with spray. I have the Mopar lift in a crate...
  7. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

Gator...its the same jeep as the one with the black/half doors in the post above.
  8. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

I agree about the offset. It was more than I actually wanted. I was looking for a more tucked in wheel...wanted it to be more army like. I went with the Black Rhinos because they already came in a matching color. They have grown on me. After adding some Rokblok mud flaps it actually looks...
  9. Black rhino Solid in Alligator green

Everyone always brings this up but I have yet to find anyone actually having a problem with over heating or brake fade with solid wheels. Maybe if this were a high speed, frequent/aggressive braking machine it would matter. Jeeps are relatively slow compared to almost everything else, even with...
  10. Design Manager insight on Jeep Wayout Concept. 37" spare tire fits aired down!

17" rims. I went with 34" tires. (255/75/17) Toyo open country. I went with those tires because I wouldn't have to lift or change anything else. They were also the lightest (by a good amount per tire) in that size. They are also availble in the same load rating as the original duratecs (C)...
  11. OEM wheel balancing weights

I guess since i have solid wheels and cant see any balancing weights, their aesthetics never bothered me much. Or i never really cared. my "wheel" guy high speed balances when he rotates tires. Its a high end shop catering mostly to 6 figure cars. Not sure if its necessary or overkill but...
  12. OEM wheel balancing weights

who cares if the weights are OEM? Does gravity affect them differently? How would any other weight besides "oem" balance different or less effective?
  13. Let Us Hear That You Want Core Doors!

not sure where to find it...It was in my "for you" feed of google new a while back. It did have pictures and a bunch of technical details. they may have been the ones jeep actuallydisplayed a few years back on a red jeep Nevermind...found a copy...
  14. Let Us Hear That You Want Core Doors!

I dont think of it as conspiracy, just regular business. Jeep does offer your products as essentially an OEM option (sunrider, which I have.).
  15. Let Us Hear That You Want Core Doors!

see Need I say more...;) Besides, everyone knows we are actually living in the matrix. No harsh feelings towards you guys. I have, love and endorse your products.
  16. Let Us Hear That You Want Core Doors!

Jeep posted a patent for doors that look almost identical to the core doors earlier this year (last year?) Either they told Bestop to not make them at risk of losing other very lucrative contracts or they are actually hiring best top to make the doors for them eventually. The existence of that...
  17. Keeping door handles clean (extended fender flares?)

Rokblok are awsome. No one will regret getting even just the front ones. More or less eliminated the dirt on my doors with the wider aftermarket tires. They come in a bunch of colors too. They are worth it just for the amount of time I save in cleaning
  18. Jeep Enthusiasm Waning

With The looming demise of internal combustion, this will likely be my forever/long term truck. By the time I'm done with it I wouldn't be surprised if there are dwindling/zero options for a completely petrol replacement. I wouldn't even be surprised to see a spike in value for non-electrified...
