Jaun, here is my setup! It's about 6600 LBS and we tow all over the country with no problems at all.
1) Gears 4:56. It will run you about $1600 to $2000. World of difference, no trying to find a gear all the time. Goes to 7th or 8th and holds there. I do run 35", but they are on the small side...
Hello Sean, I have one from Overland in perfect condition. How's $50 sound? I live near Waxahachie TX. Do you need the Factory Hitch? I have one for $100?
I love my Nomad rims:
1) Airing down is a piece of cake, I run 13 PSI. We use them as a demo to show participant's how air down is the #1 thing you can do to improve off-roading traction and Comfort.
a) We drive one tire up on a large rock at 32 PSI.
b) Turn the air down valve...
Big HELLO from Waxahachie!!! Look forward to seeing everyone on the trails, Marble Falls, Bardwell, Wolf Caves, Jeep Jamboree's (Tx, Ut, Co, Ca, Wa and SD)...
Love the Firestone Bags!!! They work great for me, I run 40-42 PSI and the Gladiator actually ride better!!! Yes, suck all the air out of the bags, put the cap and use zip ties to fold over. I have done few that way with no problems at all. Enjoy....
2020 overland with: Rubi axles takeoffs (4.10), Rubi shocks and springs, Firestone airbags at 48 PSI, Redarc brake controller. Rides like a dream with no problem stopping. Almost a full day getting everything balanced and level. Trip so far with both Jeep's; Jeep Jamboree in SD. then over to...
I switched to the New Teraflex 6 piece rings. Only have to replace part of the ring and not the whole ring. 6 pieces only cost $36... Still can't decide on Red or White!!! LOL....
OneTraveler, I fist put a hole where the air valve would go and used a electricians wire fish line to pull it into place. Before I pulled it up I had it all set with a larger washer, lock washer and hose attached. As you can see I put a larger washer on the out side too.... Love my Air Bags...
I think he is talking about Drag link... Easy fix....Lose the bolts and turn sleeve till steering wheel is centered, tighten and test.... usually takes me a few times to get 100% correct going down the road...
Its all about setup and preparation!!! Towed like a dream for 3500 miles in 10 days. From DFW to the Black Hills in SD to Yellowstone and Back to DFW. Could use a little more power on the big hills!!!
My Set Up:
1) Correct height adjust hitch to make sure trailer is level.
2) Redarc break...
