  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

correct. I ran the wire for the driver side behind the bumper and Mated it up with the passenger side. From there I just followed the wiring harness along the frame. Wired it up to aux 3 switch. I cut enough wire to have too much. So at least the length of the gladiator plus 10%.
  2. Park Sensor Help

Doug did you have a steel bumper to begin with or a plastic bumper?
  3. Park Sensor Help

Yep, I just twisted them around until they were positioned to work. The sensors snap into the actual bezel which can turn in the bumper. It isn’t easy. YOu have to grab the sensor from behind the bumper as well as the bezel and turn both at the same time. You kill your fingers.
  4. Park Sensor Help

All trial and error. I started with the center sensors. Parked really to something and slowly moved forward until the object was at the last yellow/orange line on the camera and adjusted the inner sensors till they were pretty close. Then did the same with each outside sensor. Is it perfect...

Almost done with the blackout work. changed the Jeep logos for flat black, used some smoked tint on the turn signals and back up lights. Still debating replacing the grill insets for a set I would paint matte black.
  6. Need help regarding DRL assembly

So me being a dumbass, I was replacing my parking light with clear diode dynamic ones and in the process of removing the amber one from the driver side I broke the tab that retains the top part of the parking light and it is now loose. I would have to replace the entire DRL assembly to get it...
  7. Rubicon Rear Bumper on Overland. What needs to be modified?

So I got all the parts listed above and yes, those are what you need. Installing the sensors though was a major PITA.
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Mine had the holes for the sensors so no drilling. Will take some pics tomorrow. What are you looking for? Note that if you have the tow package you need two additional screws and rivnuts for the bottom of the hitch. The steel bumper uses these but the plastic one doesn’t.
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Not so much something done to the Gladiator but to an accessory. Added a 3rd brake light to our bike rack so people can see it over the bikes.
  10. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

ive got the sensors installed with no issues. Not sure the orientation of the bezels is correct though. Depending on how they are turned points the sensors in different ways. My sensors work when I’m reversing but doesn’t seem to pick up as far out as they used to. its a take off bumper not...
  11. New here from Mass.

Howdy Joe. I’m also relatively new, have an Overland and am in Mass. Bought mine from my local dealership Planet Chrysler. if up for it go for a Rubicon 3 piece bumper and put your tow hooks in it and same for the rear. Upgrade to a steel and add an additional tow hook. It’s a small tweak to...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed a full size overland wheel as my spare and a steel rubicon bumper. Anyone who can tell me how the park sensors are supposed to be oriented in this thing I’d really appreciate it.
  13. Park Sensor Help

Holy crap these things are driving me nuts. I decided to swap my plastic bumper for the rubicon steel bumper and these damn parking sensors can kiss my ass. Different brackets to mount them in the steel bumper. I think I got the right things just to run into assembly issues. Finally got them all...

  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I set up a notification in Facebook marketplace to notify me when rubicon and bumper were listed. Picked up the close out panel, skid plate, bumper and license plate holder minus the 4 rivnuts, 2 bolts for the brackets and the foglights for $$700. He wanted $800 but talked him down since no...
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed a rubicon bumper today. Took longer then it should because I wanted my black tow hooks not the rubicon red so had to tear both bumpers apart. Plus I had to transfer the fog lights. Also reversed the trail rated badge and added a blacked out Murcia flag. sticking with the monochrome...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Did my 2nd set of ahem.....”modifications.” Ran CarPlay wire from the center console to the dash to hide wires. Decided to think ahead for when I upgrade phones and also ran a USB-C wire that I’ll use when needed. Then I added my own Bluetooth speaker. Installed a USB hub inside the dash...
  18. Rubicon Rear Bumper on Overland. What needs to be modified?

Nothing needs to be modified but there are some differences with the park assist. The sensors are the same but the brackets are different. Plus you will need two rivnuts and bolts to mount the bottom of the bumper to the hitch. Learning this from experience as I’ve now mounted and dismounted my...
  19. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

First jeep, first time doing any sort of wiring in a vehicle and first post. slowly doing some things to the JT. First was installing the oracle bed lights. I didn’t want to drill any holes in the bed and was able to find a small hole in the top rear above the bed rails that the wire fit in...
