Picked up another Hog ('66 M50S) a couple weeks ago  .
It's in great, original shape and has some rare OEM accessories that are seldom seen on these little Harleys (windshield, saddle bags, foot shifter).
The only issue now is that I'm running out of room for them. So, I built a...
I'm not the seller. But, according to the link I posted, it says
" Simply presses anywhere into the honeycomb grill that is found on most of the 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator JT and some of the Jeep Wrangler JL (see pictures). These use the 3/4" bullet lights found commonly on semi trucks and...
Good point! This is from a post in one of the rear window leaking threads...
"Your drivetrain control module (DTCM), central vision processing module (CVPM), and RF hub are all mounted to the rear cab bulkhead along with various harnesses and key fob associated antennas. While the rear cab...
I'd be surprised if they didn't unplug the dashcam. I had a body shop unplugged mine. But, I still got some footage because they didn't notice my (separately wired) rear cam.
Different brother pegged a neighborhood kid with a rock as he rode his bike by the yard. His mother came to talk to my mother.
As punishment, my brother had to throw grains of rice out of a bowl, one by one, over a fence for hours until his arm was numb. She made him stand about 15 feet from...
About 40 years ago (give or take) my brother was having a BB gun shootout with some other kids. He took one to the forehead and it lodged in his scalp. He had to go to the hospital for them to remove it and see if it fractured his scull.
When he got there, the nurse called the cops because he...
I have an Apple AirTag in one of my other vehicles (stored in a garage away from my residence). Typically it shows within a few feet of the actual location. The worst I have ever seen was a house or two away from the actual garage.
Of course, others use may vary.
Since phones are being mentioned again.........

In the end, I 100% agree. But, you certainly will be named and dragged in (as well as your insurance carrier). It will cost $ for an attorney to get you out with a motion to dismiss.
They will go after the most money, which is your insurance carrier (because the body shop probably won't have...
Then I would follow the Sheriff's advice and report it as stolen.
But, first I would go to where the airtag shows it is located (still with my spare key). And, when the Sheriff does his theft report, ask if I could drive it away instead of it getting towed and put in a storage lot.
Of course...
(NOTE: I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice. :))
If it was my truck, I would keep an eye on the airtag. When it shows its at a location it shouldn't be at, I would go there and take photos.
I would also take a spare key with me, call the local police when I locate it and advise...
