agree, Saxon climbing out of Georgetown is super skinny. I haven't driven up that shelf road in more than a decade but it was tight then and I know it couldn't have improved in that time.
Hey, you should move this into the electronics section. It's not a diesel topic. Although I enjoy it, as an engineer, myself! That way you'll get more radio peeps to see it.
There's a decent chance the oil pump isn't bad, but the oil pressure sensor was tricked with this filter cap torqueing issue. I removed and retorqued my filter earlier this month and haven't seen the error since...if I ever do I'll be sure to update this thread.
Agreed. Nobody else has touched mine since the day it left the lot. Will have to suck it up for the recalls. HPFF and the tailgate latch together in one appt...minimize exposure to dealerships.
You're fine. The first interval the engine is still breaking in.
I change my oil every 7500 mi. Including the first interval, as it were. I'm at 22,5 now, my third change. Oh that reminds me, i need to send in my oil samples.
Yep; agree with others. Here are my DIY costs, every 7500 mi. (add another $60 for a shipped fuel filter, every 15,000 mi)
$75 for 9 qt. oil (via Amazon cases of Penzoil Platinum Euro)
~$78 for oil filter (support @AllMoparParts.com)
~$30? to Oil Analyzers

call it $190...
I have not, but it doesn't sound scary. It maybe could possibly be a 4wd road. Hmm. From the description, it sounds passable in a Honda, definitely a Subaru.
