Saxon I wouldn’t recommend without a little experience. But cascade creek I’ve done when mine was stock. But I’m ok with undercarriage scratches. If someone isn’t, cascade creek needs at least a tiny lift in one or two spots.
agree, Saxon climbing out of Georgetown is super skinny. I haven't driven up that shelf road in more than a decade but it was tight then and I know it couldn't have improved in that time.

I might be the wrong person to ask. Since I bring EVERYTHING. In all seriousness, a way to air back up, basic recovery stuff like straps, shackles, etc, radios (handhelds are fine), common sense, etc. you’ll be fine. As @Mightytalldude said, you’ll figure it out after a couple of trips. I bring everything required to replace the suspension on the trail. But I’m me. ;)
ok, I'm wheeling with you then.

Hi all… I found the Colorado thread. I bought mine in December and I’m liking it so far.

Sorry guys. I am out for this Sunday trail run. We're going to be moving in May, and we're filling an open top container and doing a garage sale both days this weekend since the weather looks to be nice, to help get the house ready to sell.

There are a lot of Jeeps around here... even Gladiators.

I think the forum can be awfully negative, but I really like this Jeep.
There's plus and minus to any forum and people who are extra vocal for negatives. Any make and model vehicles have issues, and the Gladiator is no exception.

The Gladiator is a very niche vehicle, and I've seen too many people trying to use them like a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton truck, and they are not going to give that result no matter how hard someone tries to do it. I'm coming up on 4.5 years with mine. I've talked many people out of buying one, specifically because of what they wanted to do with it.

I stepped down from a 3/4 ton Super Duty, and knew exactly what I was getting into with the Gladiator. It fits my wants, and most of my needs, plus it's a fun mid life crisis vehicle, sporty convertible with a manual transmission.

Welcome to the Gladiator Front Range page. If you have questions, feel free to ask, someone on here probably has an answer.

It's all good. Can you tell me what the trails look like for sunday? Is there a lot of snow up there? I still might go.

Open, weather permitting. They might/will be muddy with standing snow in places, but don't go alone, especially if you don't have a winch. That trail is about 9000', and has had snow as late as June, but generally it's rocky after the initial 500'-1000' of the trail.

I’m going to do the best I can to go, assuming my wife’s migraine breaks.

Missed this until now, but Saxon is still tight, but the boulder obstacle has been mostly mitigated, looks like they took dynamite to a few boulders in there. We hit it last year.

Switzerland Trail isn't difficult, nice views, in roughly the same area behind Boulder/Nederland, and low enough in elevation, that it could be done, moderately dry, without needing a winch. Switzerland North, I would recommend having another vehicle and a winch if it's wet or snow on the trail.

Hope she improves and gets through that soon. Wish her well from us.

Will do. But the way it looks tonight, I probably need to be home this weekend. I’m really sorry to bail. It’s not like me.
