I haven’t done all of those, but @Mightytalldude suggested them with stock rigs and people new to jeeps in mind. You’ll genuinely be amazed at what they can do bone stock. Mine was bone stock in these pictures. Not a scratch. It was a walk in the park.

Awesome, I'm really looking forward to getting out there. I'm not scared of trying new things, just trying to hold off on hurting the truck for as long as possible.

I'm pretty picky with my Jeep, like to keep it shiny. Pickle Gulch is very friendly overall, but possibly muddy. The obstacles there will challenge you a bit, but a stock Rubicon will have zero issues. I have a Sport S with no lockers and take it places that in theory I should get stuck but don't.

You won’t hurt it.

Probably the best first thing to have, is not go wheeling by yourself. You'll find things that you'll need, or want as you go.

Probably not. What would be some essential items to carry in the truck for offraoding? Looking to slowly add over time.
I might be the wrong person to ask. Since I bring EVERYTHING. In all seriousness, a way to air back up, basic recovery stuff like straps, shackles, etc, radios (handhelds are fine), common sense, etc. you’ll be fine. As @Mightytalldude said, you’ll figure it out after a couple of trips. I bring everything required to replace the suspension on the trail. But I’m me. ;)

Well, it's always better to have something and not need it, then to need something and not have it. ?

I agree. But it’s possible that I take it to the extreme. I’ll let you be the judge. :)

What had with me “in the beginning” was worlds different than what I now have with me on a daily basis. What I bring on wheeling trips is “a thing”.

For those looking to get into the high country, that opportunity may come earlier than usual unless the snowpack increases significantly in the next couple of months. Right now, the water equivalent snowpack in the southwestern mountains is *way* below the 30-year average, and all of the rest of the state is below average to some extent.

It’s way better after the last storm series, but it keeps getting warm and melting too early. This time of year it would historically hold better.

The current track of the next storm is all over the place. It's getting narrowed down almost hourly as it gets closer. They have downgraded the front range to 3/4" to 1" of snow but have upped 6000' elevation and above with some snow potential. Won't know until it actually happens. We need the moisture and a snow pack that holds a bit longer.

Sounds great! How difficult would you rate these trails, would a stock gladiator be OK doing these. I'm just trying to get a feel for what the truck is capable of doing, it's is new to me.
Most of them are fine stock, or even a bit easy. There are some gulches down by the Springs near Woodland that I would avoid stock, same with trails south of Idaho Springs (Mt. Saxon can be iffy), but the trails north of I25 near ID Springs/Central City aren’t bad (Argentine Pass, Yankee Hill). All evaluations presume dry weather and some experience. For true beginner trails, I usually take people near Boulder to Switzerland/Peewink, but there are moderate trails that a stock JT could run in that direction too (Pennsylvania Gulch).

Saxon I wouldn’t recommend without a little experience. But cascade creek I’ve done when mine was stock. But I’m ok with undercarriage scratches. If someone isn’t, cascade creek needs at least a tiny lift in one or two spots.
