Looks like I am going to have some free time this weekend. I was thinking of going to check out the St Johns Rock ORV trail Near Frostburg, MD. Has anyone been out there? How rough would it be in a stock Sport S? Looks like they have some snow out there, but I don’t know how much.
thanks!
Factory installed, taken off a brand new Gladiator with less than 200 miles. Perfect condition, includes mounting hardware. Located in Annapolis, MD.
$600 firm.
LOL. So now it has the aerodynamics of a slightly smaller cow ?
I put about 1,000 miles on it over the past two weeks, most of which were highway miles at about 75 mph. Average on 89 octane was 21.9 mpg, so at a minimum the softopper isn’t hurting anything.
So the NisMopar eBay site says that it’s an additional $199 to enable the off-road pages, but the nismopar web site doesn’t mention it. Does anybody know which is right?
I have a Sport S, 7” screen. It has tilt and roll display, so I’m guessing the sensors are there. An extra $200 is going...
I didn’t want to double-post pictures just out of respect for server storage, but they are here:

Has anyone put the Toyo 295/75-16’s on a Gladiator? I like the tall sidewall look, but it would be nice to see what they look like in real life. I ran similar tires on an FJ Cruiser some years ago and did just fine off-road with careful tire placement, so I’m expecting the Jeep would do fine...
front ones are stiff all the way in and out. Middle and back are hard initially but get easier. One handy tip - if something is really stiff, don’t just yank the then give up. Put as much pressure on it as you can and just hold the pressure. It may start moving after a few seconds of steady...
Just did mine today - same experience as above. Take it slow to get the body bolts out, plan on taking a step drill to the holes, and relax. All will be good.
Rock hard down-angled sliders. Did not encounter the horror stories about red locktite and snapped bolts. Bolts were stiff but I was able to remove them with my 18” socket wrench. You will need to drill out the holes - plan on it.
that’s exactly what I like about it. It’s like a mood ring truck. I was really wishing for a Sarge green, but the more I look at the Gator in the driveway, the more I am glad I got it. I ❤️ Gator!
Just got my Softopper installed a couple days ago and love it. I think cabin noise with hard top and windows up is actually less with the softopper up than it was without the softopper . Has anyone else noticed that?
This may have been mentioned in the past but I didn’t see it anywhere. I just found out that you can buy M6x1.0 lift rings that screw neatly into the trail rail mounting holes. Amazon sells them at $6.99 for 5. You need 12 for all of the holes...
Picked up my Gator hardtop max-tow on Monday. Even topless it’s much quieter than I expected. Other than rock hard down-angled sliders, no mods planned until I get her out a few times to see what, if anything, she needs. I’m not a big fan of the wheels, but no real rush to replace them.
no...
Just picked up my Gator Max-Tow yesterday, and now that it has a whole hundred miles on it, I’m thinking it’s time to get busy changing things.
I was going to start with some cowl mounted lights, but then as I was looking at them it occurred to me that you might end up getting some nasty...
