Had 30000 on my 2020 sport 6 speed. Only issue was a leaking shock, fixed under warranty. Traded for a 2021, wanted more options, and now at 3000 miles, no issues.
i ran one from the center console usb, under the center console, up behind the dash. i drilled a hole in the dash cubby/tray/holder thingy just big enough for the usb to fit. Then notched the rubber insert and put it over the hole. Dont know if theres a way to get it between the dash and windshield.
So, I took my 2020 6 speed Sport Gladiator out for its first trail adventure. Nothing difficult, Forestry Trails in a National Forest. About half a mile into one narrow trail I hit a dead end. Had to make a 6 point turn to turn around and during this maneuver I got a Clutch Hot warning. This...
I got General x3s, 295/70/17 (34s) on my stock 17 in rims. I drive in Houston every day for work. 50 miles round trip and these tires are awesome. Both dry and wet, little road noise and great traction.
Try dropping down a gear on the highway. Just an idea. I put 34s on my sport Manual Trans and in sixth gear I get worse mpg because it runs below the power band. At 70 mph I get 17ish mpg. Might work the same on the auto.
I have General X3s in 34 in. (LT295/70/17) You'd be hard pressed to find a better riding or better rated tire. I don't know why they're not more popular. I've had them on for about 15000 miles and haven't regretted it.
When Jeep designed the Gladiator, they did not design a manual trans for it. The one that comes in the Gladiator is the same one made for the 2door Wrangler. Which is rated for only 3000 lbs of towing. 4000 in the JT. To put it in the Gladiator was stupid and explains why there is a recall.
I considered the Ko2s, KM3s, and Duratrac but went with the General X3. They were rated higher than both and cheaper than the KO2. Plus i saw a review of the Duratrac and they have soft sidewalls. I live in Houston so wet traction and highway comfort is a must. I was not disappointed. Not...
Probably depends on if your Gladiator is a mall crawler or use it for exploring. Don't wanna be in the thick of it and stuck with a 31 in street tire trying to get through mud and ruts. I plan to upgrade mine.
