The problem is they don't actually "sense" that the clutch is hot, that requires a hardware change to add such a sensor. The computer "computes" that clutch is hot based on other inputs. So the clutch could overheat and the computer wouldn't know in some cases, or the computer could derate the...
I use a Boomerang soft cover on my Wrangler 4xe. You remove the stock camera cover and the tire cover includes a camera cover that justsnaps over the camera.
I tried one with just a hole for the camera and it often blocked part of the view unless I kept pushing the cover back in on the tire...
When I lived in Pennsylvania and bought a new Gladiator in 2020, the state sent a passenger car license plate for it. I thought that was odd (but it was cheaper).
Then I moved back to Georgia and the cost was the same car or truck.
I can but it is out of the 3/36 warranty.
It has a CarMax warranty, so they will probably send it to a Jeep dealer for the fix and I'll pay the deductible.
I really think the TSB should have been a recall or included a warranty extension. Maybe if enough people complain now that the basic...
Timing is everything. Last May I sold my 2020 Sport S Gladiator (Gator) to CarMax. It had 20k miles on it, stock, and I got a little more than the original MSRP.
I bought a beater Dodge Dakota because I knew I'd need a truck and more fuel efficient car as I was going to return to working in an...
I've dealt with two recently, Tutton (Jasper) Jeep and Shottenkirk (Canton).
Shottenkirk wasn't the greatest but they are supposedly improving.
I thought Tutton was pretty decent, but outside the main metro.
I figure sooner or later I'll be Shottenkirk for service since I bought a Wrangler 4xe...
Yes, you are just guessing. Even the sensors in the tires on the ground will go to sleep after a few minutes of not rotating.
The person who told you to point that valve stem away from the others didn't necessarily understand the system either because the spare tire sensor would be asleep in a...
Good question, I'm not sure where they are in all the years they've promised to go back for Dodge as other than the promise of adding a new year to the list every six weeks I've seen nothing to show they actually have.
They haven't said anything for Jeep yet, but Dodge is offering a new security reflash that prevents new keys from being added to your vehicle to prevent this type of theft. The bad news is it also prevents you from having another key made for your vehicle unless you also replace the module for...
A TPMS sensor only transmits when the wheel is rotating. Otherwise the sensor goes to sleep to preserve battery life. Therefore the spare tire sensor does not transmit any info.
You aren't buying the proper brand of battery operated yard tools then. I had the same problem. Fresh batteries every spring. Then I changed tool brands 5 years back and haven't bought a new battery since.
The spare is not monitored. It does not even have a sensor on a Gladiator.
The sensors go to sleep when the tire is not rotating to preserve battery life. So even when the spare has a sensor, like on a Wrangler, the system is only monitoring the four road tires.
Even in the late 1960s during the peak muscle car years, August was the changeover time for Chrysler production. Cars produced starting in August to be at the dealers in September. Of course, model year changeovers were a bit bigger deal when styling was updated every year.
