The size has nothing to do with how long it will last. I'm not a defender but it does just keep the electronics stable during start stop events. It's an agm battery just like any other with a normal lifespan.
Mine lasted exactly as long as my main and the second set of both are going strong...
My favorite are those who change at 3000 miles because "it has always worked".
Well, it would also "work" if you changed it every day.
It makes no sense whatsoever.
The synthetic oils made today are magic goo full of golden pixie dust compared to just 30 years ago.
But you know that they set...
Imagine a world where multi billion dollar companies might someday employ something called "engineers" who go to school to learn a variety of subjects like fluid dynamics, metallurgy, thermodynamics, computer programming, statistical analysis, chemistry, electronics etc etc etc.
Then imagine...
Respectfully, that is totally different than your first post.
If you want to pump oil through the engine there are ways to do that although it's not needed.
And IMHO, that Baxter thing although interesting and cool, is a solution in search of a problem.
We have engines that routinely to...
Well, I actually am an engineer. And I do understand everything you are saying and then some.
My response remains. If you do this (day or night) it does not change the facts that you are overloaded and therefore more likely to have issues. And way overloaded at that.
Additionally, all of...
When you do such a thing, please post a date and time so I can warn everyone I know to stay away from you.
Over the hitch limit, over the published towing limit, way beyond the clutch and transmission limit, past the brake limit, likely not insured as your policy likely won't cover you.
Just...
Here is the second helpful post using facts and math.
1) you are over the limit. FACT.
2) you are over by a lot. MATH.
3) it is a dumb idea. FACT.
It has been suggested that you drive gently (like grandma is in back sipping tea). Might I also suggest that if the unexpected happens (as it can...
Well lowest I've heard is about $12 a month like you found out.
Pay the man. I did. And honestly it's not that much. I'd rather it be free yes.
But, as you said. Spoiled.
Yeah, nope. Your wrong on this.
And I hate subscription BS too. But this ain't like heated seats where nothing else is involved and they just turn it off.
Remote start, locks, etc do not turn off. You can still use all of those features via your keofob. They all still work.
What you can't...
Sorry it was late. I stand corrected.
All are Dana 44 but some trims have a wider version by a couple of inches.
I don't know all the details. Look it up. I'm sure it's readily available. I think max tow, Rubicon and Mojave have wider but it may be some others too.
This is incorrect. It does have the larger higher amperage cooling fan. It may not have all the maxtow stuff. But it does have the fan. Guaranteed.
It also has a towing capacity of 6000 which is less than max tow of 7500 due to softer springs in the rear.
Also has Dana 44 as opposed to Dana...
