This is a pretty robust AEV 7000 lighting harness. I have AUX...
This does not seem to be as straight forward as cut all but power and ground (or is it??)
#4 is pig tail to two aux lights
#5 is the switch that I plan to cut shorter and use on AUX. Has red, white, black...
#1,2,3 are between...
You are correct, there are relays in the $75 harness. On switch A, I have power, load, ground. On switch B just red/green.
Thank you, I hate to chop it up, clean install was the goal... You mentioned cutting after the relay, am I keeping the relay? Thanks again -
Hey all - I see plenty of posts that say cut any harness down to red power and black ground if you are going to use aux lighting in cab. I have a quick question for those with Baja designs S8 Lighting... S8 has a backlighting feature (assuming switch 1) and spot/driving lights (assuming switch...
Thanks you all thus far - as a couple have pointed out, this bracket is to be mounted on the outside. That is accurate and confirmed from AEV (who has been extremely helpful) in this process
Thank you, you are correct it needs to rotate up. Nonetheless, the rounded part of bracket still hits the frame rail. Right now I’m project on hold, I need to connect with AEV to see if modification is necessary for mojave. Conversely on passenger side, it’s closer. But frame rail still...
I’m installing AEV RX front bumper and I’m stuck... It appears tow loops brackets will not fit on mojave. There is another bracket of sorts (welded permanently preventing this bracket from fitting. Has anyone else seen this? If so, how did you remedy? THANK YOU!
for those with AEV bumper (mine arrives today) were there alternative options for aux lights/skid plate light bar
When I spoke to AEV they said their mount was compatible with their lights only at this time. An alternative bracket may be available at some point. Curious if someone else has...
the drive changed with lift. To keep as close to stock drive, go with tire close to same weight as stock. I chose this wheel combo to attempt this. The KO2’s are lighter and much closer to 36 than 37. Yes I did adjust and recalibrate with JScan. 80% of what Tazer does 20% of cost.
