    I approve this post :jk:
  3. Canada JTR US Warranty?

I think you mean to say no warranty on "imported" Cdn. Jeeps. Jeep Canada and Jeep U.S. are both owned by Chrysler/Selantis or whatever they are called now. So same company, just different divisions. We have the same issues up here with privately imported U.S. vehicles. I wouldn't buy one of...
  4. Canada JTR US Warranty?

Not true. Our '18 JK Wrangler broke down in California a couple years ago, when it was basically new. We were towed to Bakersfield Jeep dealer and all repairs and towing were covered by Jeep. Warranty is valid in both countries as far as I know. The dealer most likely bought it at auction...
  5. Gladiator Glamour Shots

    South Caribou, B.C.
  6. What’s with these gas prices?

Many factors at play. Some political, some economics. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Oil-Prices/Could-Oil-Still-Hit-80.html
  7. Forget the Bronco, I'm trading in for a Miata!

Just north of Whistler, B.C. is the little village of D'Arcy. There is a really rough 4x4 road from there to Seton Portage that follows the power line high above Anderson Lake. It is called the Highline Road. Late one rainy afternoon, in the dark, as we were returning to Whistler we meet up with...
  8. So, what is everybody towing?

We tow a 15ft. TAXA Cricket Trek. About 2000# with the extra crap (er, I mean essentials) for camping. Stock 2020 Rubicon with auto. I don't think I would want to tow anything bigger. We've lived out of that camper for six weeks and it was perfect for us. We prefer remote sites and don't need...
  9. Dead Gladiator and Poor roadside assist

We had the same thing happen to our new '18 JLK Rubicon. It was the fusible link that had fried. It is under the main fuse block. The dealer in Bakersfield ended up getting permission to take one off a customers Jeep rather than wait a day to get one shipped up from L.A. They had to replace the...
  10. Show me your furry Co-Pilots.

Our loving faithful Rotti, Ona. Unfortunately she passed away last August at 10 yrs. old. We had so many great adventures with her in our various Jeeps. We miss her every day.
  11. Setting up for camping

We use a RTT and an add on tent for the ARB Touring awning. The Missus slept in the RTT while the mutt and I hunkered down in the ARB. The ARB has lots of ventilation if you need it.
  12. Roof top tent on a roof rack over the cab

Here is our setup. EeziAwn Stealth RTT, ARB touring awning with tent add on. We also have Decked drawer system. RTT is mounted on a RCI rack.
  13. What is the most important accessory for your Gladiator?

Another vote for Bestop Sunrider. If I was only allowed to buy one accessory for our Jeep this would be it.
  14. The Philistine thread - non-lifted Gladiators and not likely to be, either

We're proud to be Philistines. I think lifts are the biggest waste of money a person can spend on any Jeep. This is our 3rd Jeep and we have never lifted any of them. The best thing we have bought for our Gladiator is a Bestop for the front of the cab.
  15. So I didn't know what the Jeep wave program was

In Canada we get the finger. No Wave for us. :jk:
  16. Would love to see Jeeps that are owned by women!

This is my wife's rig. She lets me drive it once in awhile. When I drive it and get compliments I always tell people it's hers.:)
