Thanks for asking, and yes, can use.
I believe the harness had a shared ground lead, as I donāt remember having a buss bar.
I believe I had one terminal to a ground stud listed in the manual. Which I believe was under the passenger kick panel.
took a couple new pics.
Routing under the kick...
If Iām not mistaken, i just found a spot that avoided pinch points, and just routed down to the passenger kick pannel and under the door trim and carpet split, and out to the amps under the passenger seat. Theres a lot of space to play with.
Does it count as wheelin if itās just my driveway?
Epic winter so far. Gladās been unstoppable. Best rig Iāve had out here, and this has been twice the winter of all em so far.
Will see a lotta snow on trails Iām sure once it all opens back up in spring. Looking forward to not having to...
Iām seeing wayyy too many doors off and beautiful green lawns. :CWL:
No real updates other than itās been a champ though these last winter storms!
My biggest complaint has been the lights so far. The DRLs are getting swapped for amber bulbs, and the halos need to be unplugged. Thereās so much...
Fun weekend with the Jeep!
Itās been a little neglected as of late, and got the boot out of the garage. Added an FRS RS 2.0 to the garage. Twice gas mileage and as fun on the road as the Glad is off-road.
With all the mods done on the glad now, took it to a local off road course event. Good...
Thatās what I got it to and seems to be on the dot.
I got this tool (in the currently unavailable stainless steel) and works really well.
BleepinJeep Alignment Tool - Mild Steel
Iāve had mine in for about a year and been nothing short of pleased.
The tweed is comfortable year round and considering the dirt, water and life that has happened to em, they really only have superficial scrapes and stains. Mostly because i just havenāt been bothered to do more than quick...
Just did the metalcloak swap myself.
Factory joints in the knuckles just dropped out. The drag link requires a tool to press it out. Its really on there. A pickle fork will not do. This tool is $20 on Amazon.
Also, the metalcloak ends will not drop out as easily once put on. I attempted to...
Wicked cool product!
I am a newb at fabrication and welding, but want to get started. This is an affordable and practical way to learn some skills and get some needed functionality out of my Rubicon rails.
And on the note earlier of frame tie ins to make these suitable for slider duty, they...
It did. I did have the factory pieces loosen up on me in a small fender bender. But that joint was clicking, and the ball joint was loosened from factory. So it was all loose and sloppy and really didnāt take much to get that out of whack.
All in all, these components are a good 2-3x the mass...
Got the Metalcloak drag link in.
Popping the ball joint off was a particularly annoying affair as I didnāt have the proper tool and was just using a pickle fork. This little thing took it off in a quick and very sudden fashion. Use caution ā ļø. But it is very effective.
Overall, Iām super...
