Really hoping the I-6 and transmission can be put into a 2021 gladiator, I would definitely do that without question and pull out my supercharged V-6 in a heartbeat. Will continue to follow this information.
I unfortunately understand your pain. I was t-boned as well oct 2022. got my truck back Feb 2023. Had to wait on parts. They had to replace a portion of my b-piller, rear door and hinges, rocker panel and rock slider.
hopefully if they can fix it, it doesn't take as long as mine did. however I...
First off, thanks for your service brother.
I ordered my shw seat deletes in September and got them in December. I got the drawers for both the 60 and 40 side.
Also I did the reaper off road tailgate storage box.
the steps are from Hooke, I ordered them on Amazon. It gives a good step to get in...
Newest setup, rear seat delete and put a platform storage with drawers in to keep the tools, recovery gear etc in so I can keep the bed more open for other things.
Next going to install some rails on the platform with d rings so I can lash down the cooler, tent etc for camping and off road.
Had fun with IA chat, found this entertaining, enjoy LOL :
In the land where adventure calls,
A Jeep Gladiator proudly stands tall.
With a heart of steel and a spirit untamed,
it's a warrior on wheels, forever acclaimed.
Its rugged frame, a symbol of might,
Conquering mountains, basking in...
I really dont understand the obsession with the vehicles value after purchase. When we all bought our Jeeps, we felt it was worth the value or we wouldnt have made the purchase. Now did i "over pay" for mine? that depends. i dont think so, part of the reason i bought it.
I never bought a...
I had issues for a week with my Iphone 15, for me, getting a new cord, turning on the truck letting the head unit load then have phone unlocked when i connect seems to work and that process has worked for the last month.
I put bed use items in mine, cargo straps, bungee cords etc that i use in the bed. i am working a rear seat delete with platform storage for my tools etc making the most use of space for my needs and keep the bed as empty as possible. need bed space for firewood, animals (i am a hunter). i didnt...
the flange hasnt hindered anything i have done yet and am able to slide stuff in and out of the bed.
The lights are wired to the battery, the box has a magnetic switch to turn it off when the box is closed, they also include a rocker switch if you prefer to do it that way. the wire runs down the...
I did take the measurements: 3" deep 9" wide 13.10" long. hope that helps you. there are two small access panels inside as well to get to the linkage and the backup camera.
Did this exact thing to my tailgate last month. So far im pretty happy with it. I did not use the self tapping screws it came with to secure the box, instead I did rivets. Personal preference.
I hear you on that, its a one and done for me as well. I didnt leave without some trail damage though. bent my tie rod, ripped out my rear driver side light and put a small dent on the bed panel, rocked into a tree. other than that normal stuff but definetally had to take it slow. i also went...
I understand what OP is trying to get at and I can appreciate the enthusiasm. I had my engine modified to put out more power, why? because i could and wanted too, did it "need" it? no. I had a 2007 Tacoma, and it did pull a 4k trailer from Co to Wa, it did it, just didnt like it and i had a...
I will admit i did not read all 6 pages to this thread, however, the tailgate is metal, it is aluminum and now after chopping and installing the reaper off road tailgate box, mine now has some steel in it too lol.
This is somewhat of an entertaining conversation, but I have never understood how there are people who look at average vehicles as an investment. They never are, just a liability.
Personally, I bought this Gladiator with absolutely no intention of getting rid of it. I couldn't justify trading...
I have the Clayton suspension as well, did the Dusy Ershim couple weeks ago, bent the passanger side one and the driver side one snapped. the Anti-rock is going in this friday LOL
I just got home from an epic trip on the Dusy Ershim trail. (Solo not the wisest decision but got extremely lucky and made it home in one piece)
Day 1, Friday the 6th left Lemoore and made it up dinky creek for some camping about 30 min from the southern trail head. Got set up about 1 am.
Day...
