I’ve had that happen and it then stayed on
Hope you have more luck
In Uber to get my Mojave , they replaced gasket cover this time as well as the caps - last time it was just the caps.
Fingers crossed !
So went to dealer today
Same issue as before, valve cover leak
You were right Ian Nubbit
This time they are replacing the value cover, last time just the gasket.
Anything else I should make sure they do / don’t ?
Will this fix the issue, assuming they don’t make mess of it ?
Love my JT Mojave 2020 but light has gone again and same symptoms as last time - shaking and oil burning smell. Last time was an oil leak.
Had cylinder firing issues, new steering brace, new cam shaft and now this.
warrant expires sept but I do have an extension booght to mydealer albeit...
Yeah I've not done serious rock climbing
Only real mod is changing front lights but that was plug and play
Seems like plenty of people have zero issues
Hope yours continues to be trouble free
I wonder if the lemon law is the state you live versus where vehicle was purchased, we live in Cal...
Thanks
It's outside the 18 month horizon but 200 miles under the 18k mileage limit.
But it's not been in shop for 30 days and has been variety issues versus them not being able to solve a specific problem
So likely not covered or borderline
Yeah makes a lot sense.
It's tough one given how much I love the truck.
Most likely approach is to wait and see in next few months but not sure what my options will be
Cal lemon law seems like would need more for my vehicle to be considered - more days off the road etc but I need to look into...
Would appreciate your points of view
I love my jt mojave 2020. Have bought bunch accessories, soft top, side steps, 35s and new wheels.
It has 18k miles.
I've had to have lots of issues fixed
- lose steering (got tsb)
- visor broke - no big deal was fixed
- new cam shaft - had to drive it...
Love my 2020 JT, 2 years old 17k miles.
But engine light has come on 5 times now for different issues despite getting all the regular services.
it's a pain in the rear, albeit covered under warranty for now.
Is this "normal" for a gladiator?
I choose Mojave for the same reasons as cited above.
I go fishing but mostly it's dirt tracks and occasional rocks but not really crawling
we Drive from cal to Idaho every summer and it's been comfortable for us and 5 year old.
considered RSE bed cap that would make fly fishing rod carrier...
Really helpful, thanks everyone.
Compared to other non vehicle forums I'm on this site is so useful and helpful.
hard to find people to get a pov on this stuff.
Think I will go down route of extended warranty, the price went up as I'm post 12k miles but would likely go for 7 year and keep...
Love my 2020 Mojave. Has 15k miles, 2 years old.
It has been in 3 times now
1)got the TSB steering box fitted, my choice.
2) discovered the front steering brace was very lose, according to the tech one bolt was finger right! I suspect this was when I got stuck in snow and was pulled out...
