It looks like you have an adjustable trackbar installed, correct? I had springbow in my lift before I re-centered the axle with the adjustable trackbar so I'm wondering if they mis-installed your trackbar. Is one tire sticking out on one side more than the other?
Finally got around to getting the EVO front and rear adjustable track bars installed. I'll admit they sat on my garage floor for awhile... with winter and not getting out much I procrastinated a bit. It took me less than 30 minutes to do both. Once finished, I had a buddy of mine who runs a shop...
Glad to hear it! It does beg for 37s in my opinion. Haha. Do you have a Rubicon or Sport Max Tow? I ask because with the 4.10 gearing that comes stock I don’t think re-gearing is a must with 37s.
Falcon shocks are an excellent choice, you can't go wrong with those parts. I would however look at other options if you're in the market for a full kit. The primary reason being as someone mentioned above, the Teraflex kit currently available is 'half-baked', in my opinion anyway.
I had the...
Rubicon 100%.
I had a JL Rubicon, and a JL Sport prior. I wanted to run 37s on the gladiator so the larger axles and lockers was a no brainer. I wheel enough to justify the cost and I didn't want to deal with upgrading later on. If you don't wheel often, Sport S Max Tow is a great option to...
I'll also add that it seems that not as many JTs are putting on Falcons (probably because the Teraflex kits aren't fully baked yet). If you find the JT forum lacking feedback, head over to the JL forum, tons of guys run them there and you shouldn't have trouble finding good info.
100% recommend Falcon shocks. I had them on my last Jeep and I loved them. They are firmer than what you'd get with Fox from my experience but are great off road. Also, it makes sense Northridge uses the 3.5-4" Fox for their lift, that's about what you should expect in height.
Also, don't feel...
Hey John,
I got the 2.5" Enforcer Stage 2. I did not get the Plus variant but would absolutely recommend it due to the amount of lift you get with this kit. The spring bow is being caused due to the axle being off center (result of the height) so once those adjustable F&R trackbars go in that...
Thanks! Glad I could help. Yeah it gave me more than I expected in terms of lift, but I'm okay with that since I knew I was going 37s this time around. The only downside that I've experienced is that I do now need the front and rear trackbars to re-center the axles, which I wasn't anticipating...
I do like it. The only thing I'd add is adjustable front and rear track bars, which I plan to do in the near future. It performs great off road and feel totally comfortable wheeling!
I agree with this. I took my Rubicon stock and skidded on about half of the humps on the Falls Dam trail, same experience on Wolf Den. It's nothing that would break your Jeep, but it will come back with scrapes underneath.
You don't need lockers to do most of the trails at Uwharrie, but the...
