2022 Yamaha Rmax 4 seat. Machine and trailer combined are 3000 lbs. I'm considering getting an enclosed trailer to haul it and at least 1 if not 2 dirt bikes at the same time. Currently with the open trailer I can still use my ramps and put the bikes in the bed but I don't enjoy it. On my...
Go look at "The Story Till Now" on YouTube, he's running ~4.5" of lift with 37's but a lot of camping gear too. It has my ideal stance, personal opinion and all that.
I noticed today on my way to work that my driver's mirror stayed fogged over and was cold to the touch vs the passenger mirror. Does anyone know what pins the heated mirror are on the door harness? Also, what should be the resistance value across those pins or should I just be looking for...
I'm talking about the passive brake hold where you just mash the pedal at a stop. Mine basically got stuck in the rock crawl brake hold even though I didn't turn it on.
Brake hold will not flash any warning lights and turns itself off automatically. In my case I was unable to move and there were multiple warning lights.
Since then I've stayed on stable release 5 and had another issue, the line lock feature threw the trans into auto park and it wouldn't come out until a power cycle. Auto park wouldn't have been an issue if the tires weren't spinning at the time. That's an unpleasant grinding I'd like to not repeat.
2021 Rubicon with oem Falken mud terrains, 3300 miles.
Long stretches at 55 mph I've seen 21mpg after a 2 hour drive.
Most recently was a 200 mile drive to pick up a trail bike, 200 miles round trip, 18mpg.
Commuting 20 miles round trip 15 mpg for the tank but it's still cool enough for...
To keep your steering behaving, your front track bar should be parallel with the steering arm which is why you don't see a relocation bracket for the front.
In the rear, the goal is to re-center the axle after a lift so either relocate and use the oem one or get an adjustable length one.
You've made it taller which makes your track bar and drag link angle steeper. Suspension motion is going to be felt in the steering wheel. My TJ on a Currie 4" lift has very "active" steering. It drives straight but there's lots of steering wheel wiggle on bumpy roads.
You also need to...
I had a 2019 Ram Rebel quad cab and there's more passenger room in the Gladiator. It's a little narrower but significantly more leg room.
The Ram will ride and drive better, quieter, haul more, tow more, but it is also very large as a daily driver. I went from a PowerWagon to the Rebel to a...
Follow up, I spoke with support and they found an issue on Beta 3 that would occasionally lock the abs module. Beta 5 or the latest full release doesn't have this line of code.
I've reached out to support but I had 2 instances in the last 2 days where the Jeep behaved unexpectedly.
1- Yesterday while scrolling through options with the Jeep in park and running, I hit left arrow and cruise down button (res minus) and the dash blinked rock crawl and the ABS and BRAKE...
HD Stubby on my JTR. Factory plastic bumper LED fog lights bolt straight in.
Factory plastic bumper steel skidplate will require trimming to go back on.
I ordered the matching RR skidplate with the bumper on Black Friday straight from RR and its still on back order so I canceled it and am...
You're definitely spot on with the durability. That was part of the reason I chose them, that, and they were only $60 each for a 15x8. The TJ is purely a toy, I'm putting more thought into what goes on the Gladiator.
I have D-window steel wheels on my TJ running 33x12.5x15's and if I were to do it again I'd get alloy wheels. You can shave 10 lbs per wheel/tire by going with alloys over steel. D window steel Pro-Comps in a 17" are just shy of 40lbs each.
