I have that exact size. I would not buy them again. Like said before they are incredibly hard to balance and mine are not perfect. There is a slight vibration at certain speeds. Nothing crazy or dangerous but noticable. The price point is too good to be true it seems.
I go back and forth on...
Thanks all. I loosened are retorqued the control arms and sway bar with it on the ground. The squeak is still there and i verified it is the front, as I was bouncing it from the bumper and could hear it. I need to get the GF in the garage to try and bounce on the bumper so I can locate it.
I am in need of some suggestions. I have a suspension squeek that I can't track down. It is at lower speeds (in town speeds) or at least that's when I can hear it. Definitely suspension as it only happens on rough roads, bumps, etc. I replaced the front sway bar bushings and added a little...
I currently have it in my jeep. I have the lower profile ones on the sides and the larger profile on the back (closest to the cab). However both will work in either place. I have had zero issues with it for about 5 years now. The one downside is if you have a cover or anything the attachments...
About 1.5 weeks ago I installed the Mopar 2" lift with Bilstein reservoir shocks and added ½" spacer to the front. I have been hearing a little bit of tire squeal when turning. Usually a sharper turn but not all turns. I torqued everything according to the provided specs and haven't changed...
I can definitely tell a difference in the wind noise. Usually on my way to work I get a decent amount of cross wind and it is noisy. With this I could tell a reduction in the wind noise. I was up to about 70 mph too
I just got a new to me wrangler (2012 Jk) and it has this tire (Celimo Prevail all terrain) as the spare. It doesn't look too bad but I've never heard of the brand. Any first hand knowledge? I can't find many if any reviews really thru Google.
I ask here because I'm not on a wrangler forum but...
I just got mine delivered today. Living in FL, I will probably just leave the marine layer exposed since those open top days are random and year around.
I have not driven with it (tomorrow morning) but the thing I noticed is that the Velcro doesn't line up with the bars when the marine side is...
I just put my top back on after a few weeks off and remembered this as an issue. On the driver's side the bracket pushes the weather seal down. It is really an issue when it rains (more than the normal drip). I've tried many different adjustments but can't seem to figure out how to fix the...
Thanks all, I will take a look at those. If there are any others let me know. It will still be a little bit until I get it done but trying to get my research in now.
I think I've settled on @Metalcloak as the brand for the lift I'm going to get. I'm not wanting to go above 2.5" and it seems theirs are close to actual height vs the extra some give. I have two questions and hopefully either the sponsor rep can chime in or someone else.
What is the difference...
I am looking to finally upgrade my gearing and just moved to St Pete. I was hoping for some recommendations for a reputable shop in the St Pete / Tampa area.
I am going with 4.88 as I won't go above 37"s but I'm on 35"s now. I do tow a little trailer ~2k lbs and it won't be only in the flatness...
It is a 1" angled ball adapter for the base, a diamond ball mount (upside-down), and a 5.9" Double Socket arm. The way the camera mounts doesn't allow for movement so I had a small piece of 90° metal I cut to size and spray painted to get the correct angle.
I used the hardtop bolt for the...
I finally got around to installing my front and rear dashcams. The front was the normal behind the mirror but I wanted the back to still work without the top. I pieced together a few things and I think it works pretty well.
@chr15m
Some of the mentions for me revolved around electrical or power and I was having battery issues anyway (after sitting a few days it would need to be jumped or I would have to have a charger on it). I eventually got around to replacing both batteries. Since then I have not had the...
