Has anyone mounted the Alu Cab side table to their contour? I can't figure out how to mount mine without affecting the canopy integrity.
Following their directions for the expedition canopy, it would defeat the weather seal on the contour. See pic below, you're supposed to rivet this channel...
Has anyone repainted or recoated their Arcus? This is after just 2 years...
This weekend I'm going to hit it with a wire wheel and then try repainting it, still unsure what paint to use, but I'm leaning towards the Tremclad "pro" rust enamel flat black.
Local shop asked if I wanted to order...
Yeah that section of the instructions were a bit unclear, plus bolting this down in the Cap It parking lot while it was snowing and windy made for an expedited install.
1 of the locks won't turn even a bit, like its the wrong one altogether. Will have a chat about the bolts when I talk to them...
I noticed mine were the same, not even touching the nylon in the nut. Compared to the instructions on their site, this appears to be a new design with the bolt facing in vs out into a threaded plate. Not sure why the design change, not like it made install any easier/harder.
Got mine Friday, so happy to not be limited by the depth of the bed now with the revolver tonneau I've had on there until now.
Big plans for camping setup, in the side windows for a kitchen setup.
Well, this time around wasn't nearly as bad. I lifted the pieces up, and ran zip ties through the over rider holes and aligned the bolt holes with a drift while putting in the bolts. Much easier this way, but still a pain in the butt.
Alot of work for a simple project. I found out that mounting my solenoid box offset put the remote port directly in line with my LP6 lights.
I couldn't have aligned that better if I tried!
Off with the Arcus and winch to move the solenoid and re-route the cables. I told myself I would never...
Finally got around to putting in the KC Cyclone underhood lights, hopefully wont be needing them, but they are there in case@
I cut circles out of the isolation pad to the light locations
Good spot for the switch, coming up will be the ARB air manifold in this location
I finally removed my 50" bar this weekend after many attempts to silence it, including the latest addition of the aerolidz cover. It cut down the noise a bit, but was still present.
I've come to the conclusion its impossible to quiet a light bar on top of the jeeps steep and flat windshield.
Did you put a bar under the bed to support the l track to "sandwich" the bed?
I was thinking about giving the motocinch a go, just hoping its adjustable low enough for my 500EXC with 17" sumo tires.
