I have had 5100s on since I put my lift on 2 years ago. On and off road, I love them. They are paired with eibach springs and I think itās a great combo. Firm on the road and compliant offroad.
does anymore know anything about these American trail product rock sliders?

they have the step and kick out like white knuckle but a bit cheaper and American made.
Any input would be great.
You would for sure feel more power with a regear. I have 35s on my rubicon 6spd and it lives in 4th between 45-60. It can hold 65 in 5th but 6 is never seen.
For the clutch recall, thatās an easy fix. Centerforce or act will fix that. Itās amazing what the new clutch has done for mine.
Thanks for the info. I did manage to install a hidden hinge on the 40% section. On the 60%, it is more a friction hold than anything else. The upholstery that I added and the overall design that portion isnāt going anywhere and I found out I actually like having that on hinge at the center line...
I took the OPās idea and made a similar set up. Also Iām not the best carpenter.
still need to attach the tops. Iām trying to figure out a good way to attach piano hinges to the set up.
I think these are super cool, especially if they are being towed by a jl. If I had the talent I would make one but I donāt so prebuilt it Is. Also, our beds are horribly small already and my need for A trailer is to carry a motorcycle and the 5ā bed is a bit small to do that Safely.
Iām not going to lie, you can do a lot with 4k. The AEV full kit is a great setup for a decent price. You can also just frankenlift your truck by buying springs, shocks, control arms, and sway bar links.
You can also save some money by waiting for the buy 3 get 1 for a dollar deal that Jeep...
I just got my Jeep back from the dealership. Iāll try the reimbursement for the labor.
I will say though, this centerforce clutch with the new hydraulics is a different vehicle. I literally just let the clutch out in the parking lot and cruised around and the Jeep just idled all the way up and...
That is what I got quoted Too. Then the service Section saw that centerforce had more than just a clutch and added a couple of hours of labor to that.ā¦ it made me sad but Iām kind of at the wrong end of the negotiations with them since I donāt have the knowledge to do that type of work. Plus Iām...
I dropped my truck off at the dealership yesterday for them to put the centerforce clutch in today. I got a phone call at about 1000 from the dealership. the fact that the centerforce comes with a new hydraulic setup added like 5 hours of labor (estimate based on the increase in cost) for them...
