The 5100s were a known known. Eibach didn’t provide a lot of data on theirs. I honestly think the eibach are just rebranded 5100s but I could be very wrong
How have the 5100 been?

You do know that AEV has a 2” lift with 5100’s valved to match their springs rather than the off the shelf valved 5100’s if you prefer the known known
Mix and matching springs with shocks isn’t a novel idea. I like the 5100s I have, they are easy to get and priced great.

They are not. Eibach makes them in house.
That’s fair, if they make them in house that’s awesome. I trust eibach and they make great springs and I’m sure they are good shocks too.

I like them. They are firm on the road and keep the vehicle planted and they work well when I get the opportunity to take it off-road. 10/10 would buy again.

Great! What off-road conditions do you drive in? Do you have a winch up front?

I have done most trails in uwharrie, nc and hot springs off-road park in Arkansa. So mild to moderate trails, I did the badge of honor trails at both locations.

I do have a winch up front mounted in an arb stubby bumper.

I understand ,this not my first rodeo . I have done it myself for years and doing so is pretty much a guessing game with off the shelf shocks and never end up great . I must of missed the post where you already bought the shocks . plus ya never know for sure how good things are until you have had a few others on the same vehicle to compare them . Like they say ya never know how good good can be until you have experimented with others. Hope ya like'm

Bringing this back, I'm considering doing the Eibach Springs and Shocks on my JTR. Those that have had this for a while, still happy with it?

Thinking of adding the AEV correction brackets upfront instead of the control arms, and mopar end links, maybe the the rear teraflex drag link bracket. In comparison to the full AEV kit I'd only be missing the procal (don't need it, I have j scan) and the drive shaft shims.

Was just going to do the AEV 2.5 but I'm not a fan of the Bilstein ride, I like it a little softer. I hear the Eibach is somewhere between Bilsten and Fox, which would be perfect (on paper). And I fear their 2.5 will probably end up 3+ where I really just want 2", as I'm not going bigger then 35s.

Oh, and bump stops. Eibach doesn't mention them, wonder if the shock has enough room to not need them? I doubt that.

Mine are the 2-4" shocks so I cant help ya on the bumpstops. I have a little over two inches but that is what is recommended by Currie for their High steer kit which I run with 4" Synergy springs
