The cap does have one slight blemish on the front passenger latch where the powder coating has rubbed off from me cleaning off excess silicone around the latch. Easy fix, I just haven't got around to it yet. Looking to get $3,700

Did you figure out what the issue was? I have the same thing happening with mine around 3k rpm. Seems like we may have an issue but I can't find where the sound is coming from.

You know...... I wonder if that is why my bushing failed after only 10k miles? I had the dealership install everything to limit warranty issues but my guess is they torqued it down while still on the lift.

I checked the torque and it's good, I guess I'm just going to have to replace the bushings. But it makes me wonder what caused it to wear so fast.

The other end didn't have any play at all, it was solid. I just verified the torque and it's 110ft lbs and wasn't loose.

I noticed the axle moving as well and it caught me off guard! What else should i be looking for or would the track bar be the main cause of the axle moving?

Mopar lift, 37s, alignment, recent balance on the wheels. I have not called steersmarts that may be what I do next as this bushing is bad.

Is this too much play in the track bar bushing? I am experiencing slight death wobble at highway speeds, all other suspension bushings seems solid. Only 10k miles on the steersmarts adjustable track bar.

Nothing definitive yet, but I added a few psi in the rear which seemed to help. I need to chalk test it again with the added weight to make sure it's perfect.

Looks good, I did the same with mine. Luckily they changed the logo to only letter cutouts on the second batch across the ocean. My thoughts exactly, buy stuff built to last and later on convince the wife I need a v8 and all the parts will swap over...... hopefully lol

Has anyone experienced a wobble or shimmy from the rear end of your Gladiator after installing the rsi smartcap? Anything above 45mph the rear end shakes quite a bit. No issues before the cap. Seems alot worse than a simple out of balance wheel, but the added weight may just be multiplying...

Plastidip is not permanent and doesn't last. Nothing wrong with plastidip, I did spray my $500 box trailer with it and it's fine but chips and peels up in places. I would never spray my $50k+ truck with it. 6 bucks for a can of paint or 20 for a high quality badge that will last the life of the...
