I donāt have their 4 link but have their 4ā diesel lift and have put 100k on it. I just replaced all the bushing cause I had 1 that went bad but am very happy with all the stuff Iāve got from them. Iām running their upgraded steering as well. Iāve had great customer service.
I agree it seems there would be leverage applied but since it bolts all the way through they say gtg. I did call cause at first I wasnāt going to use it lol. Drove 160miles today across various terrain including 2miles of wash board gravel at speed and I was happy with feel and handling.
So I installed the 5160s all the way around. My question is on the front they send an offset bracket to adjust the angle of the shock towards the tire. I couldnāt find any pics of the bracket on anyoneās install online. Is it really necessary? Does it do anything? Thanks for any input.
Check out Rustys Off Road. I have their 4ā diesel lift and it rides great and still has rake with all my work stuff in the back. They have a 2ā diesel specific as well. Rides better no bottoming out on front end anymore even with a plow on front
I have 102k and tow 2-3 days a week across the scale Iām at 12k with trailer. Never had a derate but I keep on eye on oil temps. When they hit 245 I start driving less aggressively lol and do the speed limit. Just had cp4 replaced at 99k no real issues. Very small timing cover leak, valve cover...
Iām at 72k now. Had very slight front cover leak, def pump froze, locker sensor, passenger valve cover oil leak and axle seal lasted til 70k. Love driving it everywhere everyday
I have towed a 16bh and only had to keep it around 60 going up long inclines through the smokies other than that sometimes forget it was behind me. I tow a NoBo 19.3 which is heavier and taller but tows ver slightly better with dual axles. BTW 16bh is available.
Mine has started doing it as well. A flutter chirping sound with low speed loading. Double dosed additive at fill up today. Crossing my fingers it keeps alive til recall parts are available
I have a 21 on 37ās and tow heavier than that. You will be fine probably wonāt hardly notice it. Get a decent brake controller and use the airlift 1000.
Any vehicle safety is all driver. You can have the safest vehicle on the road and there are idiots who can cause an accident driving those. On the other hand operating outside recommended āsafeā limits with an excellent driver will never have an issue.
