My dealer wants the oil service at 80k. I mentioned a couple years ago about the 50-60k but they still stick with the 80k. Not driven hard or offroaded. Thinking on waiting.
I recently purchased another new battery for my 2020 bc the old but "good" battery I swap as a spare in my Chevy truck with no issue....has issues for the Jeep. Seems the Jeeps eat batteries as I am now on my 3rd main battery and second Aux and OMG they are getting expensive!
We stuck with the original MT's as we like the soft ride and good all around performance. TFL just posted a test on YT of several tires and the new KO3's were in it.
All batteries for my 2020 were replace under warranty @30k mi....now at 70k they are all dead and replace with a single battery NOT MOPAR as the last Mopar battery didn't last 3 years and since it was a warranty replacement, they wouldn't warranty that crap battery.
Yes, and unless under warranty, DO NOT replace with a MOPAR battery as they (I've had 4) all seem to fail before 3 year warranty...and they will not replace IF you received a new one under the Jeep Warranty...on;y if you buy the battery separately......which I feel they replaced my batteries...
Ours is a 2020 and on the second set of batteries and the Aux battery is now dead again so Start/Stop no longer functions....YEA!!! You could take your batteries to an auto store or let your dealer run a full function battery test which takes about 6 hours.... or overnight depending.
Stock Rubicon in Gator soft top. 70k miles, winch and bed cover and rubber mats and 2 new batteries under warranty long ago. So,gave it to my son (see avatar) for his 16th. Just put on 2nd set of Falken MT's. He was amazed at how well it road like when I had it "new"! Not sure what my next...
I spent a week with a 2023 4xe and wasn't impressed at all. I honestly got the same mpg as my Gladiator and driving to take it back, the 4xe lost 1 mpg when active charging. Granted it was Colorado but why? It was like an answer to a question that wasn't needed. I could see it as a run...
I ask my dealer where my air compartment lid screw was.....they said they ALWAYS discard it because it is the one most difficult to access. Your dealer should have a bin full of those!
I've been watching Ray and Zach on YT and there was a BIG used car reduction just a couple days ago. I'm waiting till next year to buy an additional Gladiator.
I'm guessing.....when does the factory transmission warranty expire? Probably recommended at that time....I do have a 2008 Chevy with over 400,000 and original trans and only substituting 2Qts every 10k miles since 125,000 miles service. But It's an open system I can get to.
Yeah and the manufacturer I think recommend trans service at 50k, my dealer has the service at 80k and I've read some members are thinking "lifetime"? Still procrastinating on that decision.
I have had issues with just "service" interval things and with warranty battery replacement. Yep, didn't tighten the cables on the battery. Thru all kinds of crazy stuff after 5 minutes. Got home and opened the hood, there's the 10mm socket and wrench already there for me to finish the job...
I was getting flashed a lot when I also had the fog lights on automaticlly. I am also getting blinded by just new cars stock LED's, I'm thinking Lexus is one but it's hard to see after you are starring at the right side of the road trying to steer straight!
Well, haven't bought "Used" from my Jeep dealer but they have been very sloppy like, leaving new 10mm sockets and wrenches in my engine bay (thanks), forgetting to connect battery terminals (that's OK, I've got a wrench for that!), forgetting to put the coolant cap back on all the way creating a...
I have a 2020 Rub & @60k miles and installed a 3 layered protective film shortly after purchase. A lot of interstate mileage with NO chips or cracks but some rememberable IMPACTS. Removed one layer due to wear and scratching and still no issues after new impacts. Windshield films are, in my...
Heck yeah! IDNK that it came in Rodent block.....I've got a squirrel issue in my eves at the house and everytime I fix the issue they find or chew another way in.
