  1. Suspension way too soft

An AEV suspension with Bilsteins tightened up most of the softness on my JTR. I ran Bilstein 5100s for 20 years on my last truck so I knew they'd probably do the trick.

The box my Traeger came in had cutouts to hold your beer during assembly. I think it even gave you an indication of how much assembly time you had left measured in beers. Pro tip: They don't insure tractors, which is of course what I tell them my primary mode of transportation is!
  3. Is it possible to "print" these parts?

Just putting my two cents in - I've used Ponoko with great results. Your parts are flat, which make them ideal for their service. Relatively inexpensive and tons of materials to pick from. I wanted a way to wall-mount this amplifier and they were great to work with.
  4. PLEASE Forgive the Wrangler Question

I wouldn't be bothered by it as long as the work that you can see looks competently done. If the upgrades to better support 35s or 37s are already on your mind, then you can only be pleasantly surprised if you tear into it and it's already been done. Price would be more important to me, really.
  5. Bumper Analysis Paralysis! HELP!

Hey @Challenger85, I too am a frequent sufferer of analysis paralysis. It's exactly why I went with the steel bumper from the factory. I think it's perfect, coated well, and none of the unknown issues related to some of the aftermarket options - like what would happen if you hit an elk going 75...
  6. North Carolina AEV 2.5" Dualsport Suspension

Sorry for the hijack here - but glad to know you added the spacers to the RT and it worked out fine. The shop I used to install my lift thought I was nuts for wanting to do that. In case anyone has doubts - the AEV lift transformed my JT. Absolutely love it.
  7. Is it dumb to wait on MY 2023?

Looks like you already have a Jeep, so yeah wait as long as you want. I did not, and should not have waited as long as I did, lol!
  8. Is it dumb to wait on MY 2023?

Yep, would've been dumb to wait apparently! lol.
  9. 869 KPH's 2022 BW JTR, "PSL"

Been a little too busy lately for updates! Sold the old Dodge (pour one out), and having lots of fun with the JT. ARE cap is on, and so is an AEV 2.5" Dualsport RT lift. Stock tires for now. Loving it. I may wrap the ARE later, not sure yet. Loving using it for now either way. No real loss...
  10. 2022 JTR Driveshaft Issue Anyone?

You know ... whale noises? OOooOOOoOooooooo Just some moans and groans.

Nuclear is the clear answer, IDK why everyone at the table can't agree on that. As far as the grid not being ready for EVs - why can't an EV owner just have a battery wall that trickle charges itself 24/7 (if necessary) and is capable of fast charging the EV when parked? Seems simple enough to...
  12. Tart Cart's JTRD Journal

Lift looks good! Did you level it out as well? I'm ready to lift soon but I can't decide if it will be spacer or the full dualsport. The stock JTR ride is just so nice.
  13. 2022 Jeep Gladiator (JT) ORDER GUIDE!! [Updated Monthly]

I'm not in the know as much these days, but I think it will be a big deal if anyone can beat Gupton's price and customer service. Good luck with the order!
  14. Florida ARE CX Evolve **Gauging Interest**

Just FYI - Ordered a similar cap early January and delivery keeps slipping. It was supposed to be made this week but we'll see. Believe the hype, buying used will save a lot of time.
  15. 2022 JTR Driveshaft Issue Anyone?

Nah, this thing has been pretty babied so far. I do throw it in 4Auto occasionally and cycled through the lockers and 4Lo a few times during the last big snow we had. I really don't have any hypotheses about what I could have done to cause it.
  16. 2022 JTR Driveshaft Issue Anyone?

My rear driveshaft starting making whale noises this weekend. I'm at about 2,100 miles on the clock. My local dealer has been great and replaced it this week no problem, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else recently. Dealer had no guesses on what exactly failed, said it could be as...
  17. Wait for Mid-Cycle-Update (2024MY)?

Just do it. I waited way too long on MY22 and was disappointed when nothing changed. Now that I have the JT in my garage I'm kicking myself for not having bought it sooner. You will not be disappointed - You're buying it for so many more reasons than what can be changed in a refresh, this truck...
  18. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

Yeah Gupton was killer for me, but I also fully recognized that it might not have been if I had had something to trade.
