Dealership had it for two weeks, kept "trying to recreate" the issue. Apparently they don't have a clue what can lock the steering. Which is odd since my non Jeep employed mechanic (sadly 100 miles away), gave me a list of 3 known reasons from Jeep of why it would happen. When I...
It wasn't difficult, it was impossible, I have driven without power steering before, it wasn't power assist.
This would not move at all other than a fraction of an inch in either direction.
There was a physical lock to it moving like it would be to turn the wheel while the truck was off, but I...
Had a terrifying experience this morning while driving to work. Went to get in the turn lane for getting on the interstate, it starts 2 lights before the one you turn at. Guy in front of me decides seconds after I swing in behind him that even though all the lights are green and the speedlimit...
Mine had that issue when it was still under warranty. I had it fixed at the same time as all the window seals, since all the rear windows were leaking at the time, even when they were sealed. I made the dealership fix all of it, has been 3 years, its stayed fixed. Not sure what all they did.
I just remembered I did make 2 mods, the ess is permanently hood disabled (button never activates it), and I have a K&N air filter. Maybe one of those is the difference.
I get 22 mpg in the city. But I have been driving a manual for decades now, coasting as much as possible and live in a hilly city. Coast down every hill out of gear, brake lighly, don't floor it unless there's an urgent need to get out of something's path.
No soft tires, full inflation, stock...
I know its not a Jeep, but it is still awesome to see that a Manual Transmission keeps your vehicle yours.

That purple reminds me of my Amethyst Dakota. It was always changing colors throughout the day, no one knew what color it was, blue, black, if dirty grey. But if I can't have Amethyst again the Hydro Blue changes colors too, looks super sweet in overcast conditions.
Freshwave makes an odor eating pack, they start off with a scent of their own, all natural ingredients, and when they stop having a smell of their own, the vehicle or wherever you put them doesn't smell either. Got rid of the cig stench in my Patriot after cleaning everything failed...
My incredible color changing dog, today she's mostly black, and its not dirt. That's her truck, she can find it anywhere and loves sitting anywhere on or in it.
I literally just had that happen last week. It was below freezing, in the teens some where. Engine would race, but I got no speed from it. Couldn't go more than 20 mph, even once the engine was warm. Took it to the dealership figuring I had bad fuel, turns out the throttle body was bad.
