New in box Diode Dynamics bumper light bar kit. I bought this and then sold the Gladiator before installing it. Located in Santa Fe NM, but will ship.

Towed great! No problems towing a 2200 lb car on a 1200 lb trailer. Even had a few hard downshifts getting up hills and the clutch remained smooth and easier to shift. It’s interesting hearing the bad experiences - it sounds like you really need to find a competent tech.
Thanks for the informative post @mrhemi. I should also note that I successfully completed an 800 mile tow near the towing limit and the clutch performed great with no issues.
The reason I own the Gladiator is because I only own manuals - I've probably owned 50 manual cars, and the clutch feel on mine was always unpleasant. It really is much better now and not just because it has been "lubricated." It actually reminds me of a Volkswagen clutch in terms of feel.
BTW, @Chaos Theory I really like the look of the Sarge color-matched top (and also the dog in the back seat). I'm sure there aren't that many manual sarge Mojaves.
The 4 days is a little unfair - I brought it in on Thursday and they had it ready on Monday.
I'd read the mixed reviews, which is one of the reasons I was motivated to post. The clutch really is much better than the old one. It does seem that poor installation is a common problem, so you need...
Just got back from a 30 mile drive after having the clutch replaced in my 2022 Mojave. This is just a quick review for those who are on the fence about replacing the clutch. I had 16,000 miles, many of them towing, on my original clutch.
The replacement took 4 days at the dealer and about a...
I ordered my Mojave over a hear ago with the 4 aux switches and haven't added a single accessory yet. Now that we've all had time to live with our add-ons for a while, what are your favorite auxiliary switch accessories? Please include a link if possible and bonus if there's a black Friday deal.
It does make a difference, although it isn’t dramatic. The gearing feels better suited to the Pentastar, which is a peakier motor not well suited to get ultra-tall gearing in the Sport.
Honestly, it just feels more natural. Like you’re not fighting to wind it out enough so that it doesn’t lug...
Part of what motivated me to write the post is that the Sport is arguably the better Gladiator for pavement, and I had no issues taking mine on some pretty tough roads in Big Bend with upgraded tires.
That said, I love the look of the Mojave.
That's an interesting perspective on gearing. When towing, I'm mainly using either 3rd or 4th. My main frustration was being unable to maintain freeway speed with any incline or wind in 4th. I was hoping that lower gearing might allow me to more comfortably maintain 4th on the freeway without...
I drove a manual Sport S for 18 months and am now driving a Mojave. I like driving, which is why I'm a manual Gladiator owner. I thought people like me might want a head's up before ordering.
I bought the Mojave after deciding to move to lower gears. After pricing regearing and noticing that...
Picking up my sarge green Mojave tomorrow morning if anyone wants me to snap a photo of their Gladiator on the lot.
Great suggestions in the thread on ordering. Do your homework, build it yourself, contact Daniel, track online and you'll be in good shape. Also note that they're not doing...
Although I'm also a manual only guy, my wife has a plug-in X3 and I love the ability to go most places on electric power with the flexibility to take a long trip using gas. For most drivers, this is a great compromise and there's nothing like the smooth torque of an electric motor.
Also, we've...
The seat covers are from PRP (https://www.prpseats.com/) and the fabric is opal tweed. I've had them now for almost 2 years and they still look like new and fit perfectly. Even though the opal tweed is a weave it's durable and doesn't stain.
I got this one for my other car and highly recommend it. It has a screen right where the rear vents are located in the Gladiator for better cooling: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CMZ11TX/
That looks like old Highway 1 - one of the most amazing Jeep roads in the states. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g240329-d260278-Reviews-Old_Coast_Road-Big_Sur_California.html
Thanks - seats are from PRP (https://www.prpseats.com/) and the fabric is opal tweed. They fit over the stock fabric, so installation isn't terrible (although I had to unbolt the seats).
