Update: Just heard from Jeep Academy. Apparently, they're not able to facilitate a transfer at this point. Bummer. Well hope those of you going have a great time.
Appreciate it. Yes, going to be a long recovery. Got surgery with screws in the heel. Trying to just take it a day or week at a time ;). Glad to hear you had a successful recovery. Probably even more patience on the other side too huh? :)
Wanted to see if anyone would be interested in taking my spot at the Jeep Academy event in Moab this Friday - 10/21.
I believe the all day event cost something like $327.
Previously went to the Ocotillo event and had a blast. This is the one I was looking forward to, but tore my Achilles...

@WilliamP - great to hear yours got through the process more quickly and that the thread helped. If more people document their experiences and mileage maybe we'll see if there are any differences: diesel vs gas, and continue to narrow down what works best. Thanks!
@RSI North America Inc - the dimensions in this post (width = 3.15 in; height = 2.56) does not match the specs on the RSI website for the gladiator load bars (w = 3.94; h = 1.18). Which is correct? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding 1 of them?
Just got $50 off the MorrFlate 4 tire inflation / deflation system with guage and adapter for my compressor. Called in and Tyler gave me "the black Friday special" - https://morrflate.com/shop/morrflate-multi-tire-air-kits/morrflate-quad-plus-4-tire-air-kit/
He said they'd be putting them...
I can't attest to beach riding specifically, but there's a big difference in the suspension. Instead of the springy back and forth I'd get with each bump, its a single rebound. It corners much better as well - an excellent balance on and off road. And of course it lifts that rear bumper up...
Finally got the AEV 2.5 and 37s on my JTRD today. Much better on road so far. Will get to play a bit this weekend. First impression:. much improved. Installed with the SteerSmarts Yeti adjustable front track bar and AEV steering stabilizer.
The Method 703s with the +25 really fit like a glove!
Hi,
I'm looking to find a decent shape 37/12.5/17 BF Goodrich KM3 that I can mount as a spare.
Please reach out if you have 1 or know where 1 is available.
Cheers,
Ryan
Just got the 2.5" AEV DualSport installed on my Rubicon Diesel (along with the AEV Steering Stabilizer and SteerSmarts Yeti Adjustable front track bar). What an upgrade!
Big thanks to Adventure Bound Off-road...it no longer feels like riding on one of these!
Selling a set of Barricade Rock Sliders. They can be mounted similar to the Ace Engineering sliders - leaving the Rubicon Rails in place. They attach to the body mounts and optionally to the pinch weld.
Would like to sell locally if possible, but may consider shipping. $375 or best offer...
