I know. That's why I made the statement. You're the one that jumped into this thread arguing for the benefits of something completely different from what I was originally asking about.
There ARE thousands of lunch box lockers installed in Jeeps. Just not in Gladiators because the new axle is slightly different than the old axles and it took a while for the aftermarket to catch up.
This is a full carrier replacement which will require resetting the ring and pinion gears. Way more work than a lunch box locker the only replaces the spider gears.
Nice find! I ran a lunch box locker on my TJ and never had a problem navigating tight turns. I think the Gladiators wheelbase would be more of an issue than a lockers turning ratio would be.
I got my 2023 Rubicon for 15k off... MSRP was just short of 60K and it was priced at $44,350. As far as I'm concerned, my Jeep was 1 year newer, I have heated seats and wheel, and most of the options that Jeep has. Mine is a soft top, and doesn't have the LED package, but I still feel like I got...
No they can't. You CAN move them fwd an bkwd a little bit, however the rears will only go so far back due to their width, any farther back and they get stretched out and won't seat into the rain gutters correctly. The front had a little more wiggle room, however when I moved them any farther fwd...

I was searching for roof rack rails for my Soft top Gladiator, I wasn't having very much luck, but then I came across a YouTube video where someone installed Rhino Rack rails on his soft top. I decided I was going to copy his idea, but when I got online to buy them I found a few other brands...
That's cool to know the LSD with Brake locker works so well. I remember reading that listed on the window sticker and laughing at the marketing jargon. I believe that's the same system the various Trailhawk Jeeps use to lock their axles and they all seem pretty capable as well.
The Wrangler axles are different in the front. They use a Dana 30 unless it's a Rubicon. All Gladiators use Dana 44 axles in the front, even the Sport versions. At least to the best of my knowledge at this time.
