That will take some getting accustomed to. This thing is very “simple” center dash, center everything really. I get the idea from the simplicity to go from left to right hand drive builds with less cost from the manufacturing perspective. When it comes to technology and overall dash layout, the...
I’m not shitting on it. I’d buy another. I’ve had 7 jeeps. I’m just giving my impression. If you ask about technology or creature comforts the jeep wins hands down. The only two things I didn’t like about my rubicon were the seats, and how the engine delivered its power. I was very happy with it...
Better in some ways. It’s solid. The finish is more utilitarian. It’s squarely aimed at being a purpose built off-roader. And it’s built that way. Rubber floors, plastic trim. Soft touch material where you would expect it. But compared to the Toyota this would seem antiquated in ways.
Rubicon 4:10, 35’s the description is what I didn’t like. “When I put my foot in it” that’s what I didn’t like about the gladiator, you had to drive your foot in it for every single hill. Any long moderately steep grade your foot keeps having to find more pedal. The Grenadier just climbs, no...
In a side by side the Gladiator may be faster down the 1/4 mile. But the gladiator has to downshift 3 gears and rev the piss out of itself to get up highway hill. The Grenadier just drives up the hill. No downshifting no sky high revs. Just smooth power delivery.
Well gang, here’s my 2 days of ownership update after trading the Gladiator.
So 2000 KM on the grenadier since picking it up Monday. That was just the drive home.
The Gladiator has 285 HP, out of a well known V6. It feels slouchy, under powered, and the throttle curve was bad. After adding the...
I’ve had 7 jeeps. Everything from CJ to JT. I would go Rubicon, or Mojave. The Willys will just keep chewing on your wallet. As you say yourself. The actual difference is about 6K once you add your mods. I have the Katzkin Leather, the top surface is nice, the sides of the front seats are vinyl...
I had them on my Gladiator for 70 000km they did wear a little uneven. But not too bad really. My personal favorite tire is the Toyo open country A/T it is quiet! It wears extremely well, it balances well. The last tires I had on my Gladiator were Toyo 35X11.5R17 given the choice between M/T or...
I’m stripping my Jeep, I bought a Ineos Grenadier. Let’s hope it’s not the biggest mistake of my life. Located in PEI Canada
Can meet you if it’s not too far, or ship anywhere on your dime. I’m happy to box anything up.
Posting items as they come out.

Ok folks legit question before I remove it, or just leave it on. Would anyone buy a Warn Bull bar with this amount of rust on it? If yes I’ll pull it off. If not, I’ll leave it for the next owner.
I Always wanted a defender but couldn’t justify getting a 20 year old truck that was $80k or more once imported to canada. And than dealing with any issue it may have at 20 years old. The grenadier was a close as I could get to a new defender that’s “not a defender” I like the big box of a...
For anyone unsure about the B58 ZF 8 combination. I have had 2 BMW X4M40i’s with that drivetrain. I have had zero issues. That is pretty much the bmw Go To drivetrain. I also have a G87 M2 with the S58 making well over 475 HP and no problems. I think the drivetrain is the least of my worries...
