The ESS on my '21 Mojave (2 years old with 17K miles) hasn't worked for the last couple of months. I took it into the dealer this morning. They replaced both the Auxiliary battery and the main battery with no questions and no charge. All under warranty.
I'm in Raleigh and they are all over the place here. Even when just driving a couple of miles down to the grocery store, I normally see one or two on the road.
My first Gladiator was a '20 Overland. It was comfortable and capable. It had the "creature comforts" my wife wanted. About the only thing I didn't like were the crappy Bridgestone Dueler tires that came stock on it. I had it for a little over a year and moved up to a '21 Mojave. I like the...
1992. I lived in Tucson, Arizona at the time and wanted a Jeep to go up into the mountains and through the desert. I bought a yellow YJ and loved every minute of it. I sold it when I moved to Southern California a couple of years later. Flash forward to 2017 - when I bought a Wrangler 2-Door...
Thanks for the post. I ordered the exact same latches last week after reading that "other" post! Mine were supposed to have been delivered yesterday - but they haven't shown up yet. I expect to receive the today.
From you photo, I would have to say your clip(s) are not installed correctly. The back of the Sunrider is supposed to sit flush with the channel - with no wrinkles at all... I just went out to my garage and took this photograph of mine.
Thaks for posting this link. I am ordering the same locks immediately. I am ordering them directly through Rugged Ridge as they are cheaper than on Amazon!
Rather than cutting the winch plate (if it is a bit too large) the other option is to add some steel spacers to the back of the bumper (between it and the frame where the bumper mounts) to provide the needed clearance. I ALMOST did that with my knock-off to give the winch a little more room but...
I used the plate that came with the bumper. BUT - I had to modify it slightly (enlarge a couple of the holes on the plate) to get the winch to fit properly. If I had to do it over, I would use the Warn winch mounting plate...
I used the winch plate that came with the bumper. I had to drill a couple of the holes out a little to get it to fit properly..... no big deal. I went with the Warn VR EVO 10-S (synthetic rope). Certainly not the cheapest winch on the market. But I wanted the best...
I've made a few mods to it. I added a steel front bumper and winch. It dropped the front end a bit so I put a 1 and 1/4 inch leveling kit on (3/4" puck + 1/2" puck). That was too much so the front end was then too high! Rather than remove the 3/4 inch puck from the front, I added a JCR 3/4...
Attended the Jeep Adventure Academy today at Uwharrie. My wife was the driver - I was the passenger. What a great event. For anyone interested in really understanding their Gladiator's capabilities, I highly recommend one of these events. What is really awesome is the speed control used when...
"My hobby is my cars (and now this truck) and my shop.
My wife's hobby and life's joy (besides me, that is HAHAHA) is her quilting."
This doesn't sound like a true monetary decision to me. You have spent a lot of time working on the mods on your truck because it is your hobby. Our hobbies are...
One benefit to the Mojave that hasn't been mentioned here is the seats. IMHO, the Mojave seats are an order of magnitude more comfortable than the Overland seats. Much better for longer trips!
