    Dangit i guess i misunderstood the deal. O well. Hopefully i get the rebate quickly to buy a warn winch plate. I appreciate you correcting me. Definitely not trying to spread false information. The rebate offer said paid by visa us cash funds so i assumed it was a typical visa gift card.

    i don’t need a 5.7 or 6.4 hemi. but i sure wish a smaller v8 with 300-320hp and 300-320ftlbs of torque was available. not a monster just a good strong pickup. i would be very interested in that if the price was reasonable. i cant afford a 392 wrangler or gladiator
  10. Front drive shaft lost bolts, need a new seal

    can you not just replace the cv joints on these drive shafts like on the older jk jeeps?
  11. Odd mileage on a new Gladiator on a dealer lot.

    if that was made may 17 lets say it was delivered june 1 thats about right. in that time it has gotten 172k miles. if ran 24hrs a day for 70 days it has averaged 102mph not subtracting time for service. ricky bobby must be the manager behind the wheel! its the only reasonable explanation

    i tried to do it today. was very uncomfortable to hit the seat belt to me. for the short term you could use a elbow pad maybe?
  13. Driveshaft, I definitely got the shaft.

    the replacement cv didn’t look like that. i think it was heat from loosing its grease. but i honestly have no idea. you could be absolutely right. here is the replacement. the replacement was a fairly cheap amazon part ($60-70)but worked fine for over a year before i sold it.

    they had one with a mopar lift and 37s waiting on someone when i picked mine up. first one i have for sure seen with that lift and tire. to me it looked like a monster! it was awesome
  17. Drag link issues?

    lay under the front and have someone turn the wheel multiple times checking for movement in the joints. on my last jeep i had a worn tie rod and drag ling which caused death wobble. if anything is loose or worn you should see it

    if you were considering a tacoma also i would think any gladiator will meet your off road needs. also if you want to keep it stock i think the mojave is the way to go. and i own a rubicon
