I havenāt had any issues yet after 3 winters in Minnesota. I have noticed snow build up on the lights though. I have LED bulbs in the standard housings.
I came up with two options if you want to keep the LEDs: drill a whole for a small cartridge heater and hook it up to the Aux switches or add...
Iām in Minnesota where we get some dangerously cold weather. However I live in the cities so the risk of getting stranded is low. I keep:
foil emergency blanket
Cotton blanket
Jacket
Beanie
Gloves
Recovery straps
Sand (also to weigh the back down)
Phone Charger
I have an ice scrapper to, but...
The sport bumper fogs do not. The rubicon lights should. I picked up a cheap set of housings off Amazon but the tabs on the lightbulbs were reversed. I just snipped the tab that didnāt fit.
Selling my soft top. Recently got a hard top and donāt want to store the soft top. Also donāt see myself switching back. Itās in great shape. No leaks. Rear window has a few dents but not really noticeable unless you are looking for them.
Comes with all plastics, bolts, and parts needed...
First thing... this is only a 95% complete DIY, but if you follow this youāll have everything you need to take it the rest of the way. Why didnāt I finish it, well it seems Iām to tall to have a headliner unless I add something to raise it higher than the roll bars. So if youāre tall, probably...
Was getting some new shoes on my JT earlier this week and noticed the dealer had duckād there own car. Thought it was fun that they were getting in on it.

My Liberty had Goodyear wranglers and it was like it was on rails on snowy roads. Definitely donāt get that feeling with the M/Ts. Granted those were all season tires. Iām gonna play with the tire pressure some see if that helps. Iāve had mine at 37 and I think itās to high. Weāll see.
Iām not finding the wild peak M/Ts to be all that great on snowy roads. The back bumper wants to see what the front bumper is up too all to often. I put some sand bags in the back but doesnāt seem to help. What is everyone else in snow country riding on? Iām sure the M/Ts would do great in deep...
-6F out currently. -22F (-30C) projected for Sunday (-34F with the windchill). 2 years ago the battery in my wifeās patriot froze solid. Didnāt even know that was a thing. Fortunately have a semi heated garage now.
Is it possible this is a ānewā fix not āanotherā fix. Perhaps FCA is changing the approach to how they are solving the previous problem for those vehicles that have not been fixed yet??? Dunno just throwing out an idea.
I bought mine used 3weeks ago. Sport S manual with 19k on the clock. Previous owner traded it for a Silverado. Had to go 500 miles to get it as that was the closest stick to me. Has everything I wanted except the hard top. Living in MN I thought it would be a must but after a few weeks with just...
