  1. SNOW & LED HEADLIGHT issues

I havenā€™t had any issues yet after 3 winters in Minnesota. I have noticed snow build up on the lights though. I have LED bulbs in the standard housings. I came up with two options if you want to keep the LEDs: drill a whole for a small cartridge heater and hook it up to the Aux switches or add...
  2. What winter kit do you keep?

Iā€™m in Minnesota where we get some dangerously cold weather. However I live in the cities so the risk of getting stranded is low. I keep: foil emergency blanket Cotton blanket Jacket Beanie Gloves Recovery straps Sand (also to weigh the back down) Phone Charger I have an ice scrapper to, but...
  3. Minnesota FS: Premium Soft Top

The sport bumper fogs do not. The rubicon lights should. I picked up a cheap set of housings off Amazon but the tabs on the lightbulbs were reversed. I just snipped the tab that didnā€™t fit.
  4. Minnesota Sold: FS: Premium Soft Top

Selling my soft top. Recently got a hard top and donā€™t want to store the soft top. Also donā€™t see myself switching back. Itā€™s in great shape. No leaks. Rear window has a few dents but not really noticeable unless you are looking for them. Comes with all plastics, bolts, and parts needed...
  5. (Illinois) Black Color Matched Hard Top for sale $2100.00

What part of Illinois are you in? Any leaks with the back window?
  6. DIY Soft Top Headliner

First thing... this is only a 95% complete DIY, but if you follow this youā€™ll have everything you need to take it the rest of the way. Why didnā€˜t I finish it, well it seems Iā€™m to tall to have a headliner unless I add something to raise it higher than the roll bars. So if youā€™re tall, probably...
  7. Minnesota JT

    Burnsville here!
  8. Get a duck yet?

Was getting some new shoes on my JT earlier this week and noticed the dealer had duckā€™d there own car. Thought it was fun that they were getting in on it.
  9. Dead Gladiator

Looks like the primary battery feeds the starter but the six battery powers the relays for it https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/JL-Wiring-Diagrams/STARTING_CHARGING-SYSTEM---2.0L_3.6L---ESS.pdf
  10. Dead Gladiator

Do you have a multi-meter? Check the voltage of the battery set. If the battery truly died, not just low, charging it wonā€™t do anything.
  11. Winter Tires

My Liberty had Goodyear wranglers and it was like it was on rails on snowy roads. Definitely donā€™t get that feeling with the M/Ts. Granted those were all season tires. Iā€™m gonna play with the tire pressure some see if that helps. Iā€™ve had mine at 37 and I think itā€™s to high. Weā€™ll see.
  12. Winter Tires

Iā€™m not finding the wild peak M/Ts to be all that great on snowy roads. The back bumper wants to see what the front bumper is up too all to often. I put some sand bags in the back but doesnā€™t seem to help. What is everyone else in snow country riding on? Iā€™m sure the M/Ts would do great in deep...
  13. Frozen Gladiator

-6F out currently. -22F (-30C) projected for Sunday (-34F with the windchill). 2 years ago the battery in my wifeā€™s patriot froze solid. Didnā€™t even know that was a thing. Fortunately have a semi heated garage now.
  14. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

ā€œWhen the driver repeatedly slips the clutchā€ So.. if Iā€™m driving in traffic weā€™re gonna go into limo mode?
  15. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Is it possible this is a ā€œnewā€ fix not ā€œanotherā€ fix. Perhaps FCA is changing the approach to how they are solving the previous problem for those vehicles that have not been fixed yet??? Dunno just throwing out an idea.
  16. Who is actually buying used?

I bought mine used 3weeks ago. Sport S manual with 19k on the clock. Previous owner traded it for a Silverado. Had to go 500 miles to get it as that was the closest stick to me. Has everything I wanted except the hard top. Living in MN I thought it would be a must but after a few weeks with just...
