So another question for all you smart forum guys and gals...
Because of my bumper I have a bit more space, and I was thinking about going with this radiator as opposed to the inverter cooler.

The fitting size on the...
Just had a quick, maybe dumb question, that may have been posted earlier...
I am adding an external cooler, similar to the BPD/Primer Gray setup... Basically you just pull the line off the oil cooler, connect it to the new external radiator and then route the output back to the cooler...
Hey All, seems like this thread just keeps on truckin! Been a while, but i just got a new travel trailer, so I wanted to check on the progress!
I this post from @biodiesel and I was wondering if there has been any updates? Wasn't able to access the facebook group.
This is no surprise to me. My Jeep has spent 60+ days in the shop in just over 3 Years. Started from day 1 when they rolled it off the train and scratched the front fender. When I was driving it back to the dealership within the first couple days was when the "Front end Bottoming out" issue...
That is what I was worried about.... Not my first jeep, but my first "Modern" jeep :). I can rewire my 71 CJ5 in a couple hours... it is like 13 wires, and one inline fuse ....hahahaha
So my jeep has been in the shop since last week, Wednesday... Day 47 overall without my Jeep, or a Loaner... Oh...I guess I should clarify they did give me a rental vehicle once for 2 days, it was a filthy old minivan that had been smoked in... I ended up getting charged for it by the rental...
I get a random clunk when on stopping and starting too. My Driveline has some play, maybe a bit less than yours, but some play for sure. Let us know what you figure out... Mine is in the shop now, I asked them to check the breaks because I thought that might be the source... I doubt they will...
I Love my Diesel Rubi too! Just wish I got to have it in my possession more. Dropped it at the shop again today... Day 39 in the shop if my math is correct, and it's 15th overall visit.
This will be the 4th time they are working on my rear diff locker... Turbo oil leak, messed up interior...
How does a Buy Back work? Was just looking at my records, my jeep has been in the shop 14 times now, most recently for a melted harness and a locker that has been "fixed" 3 times, but never actually fixed even one time.
I am really just wondering what the best path forward is for me... Last...
I guess you must be talking about this harness with the melty spots on it ?
Not trying to threadjack but it is interesting how these problems manifest themselves.
Found my notes... Here are the codes I wrote down
BCM - 61514-87
ABS - C121C-00
DASM - 40100-00
DASM - P2227-00
PTS - 40415 - 00
I also remember seeing the battery lit up as well... I thought that was strange because my dealership supposedly replaced both batteries less than a year ago.
I thought I saw previous references to the "Christmas Tree" of lights on the dash some people have seen when derating, but I can't seem to find it now.
Normally when it has derated there is nothing on the dash, but this time the truck actually would not recover, and the dash did look like a...
Yeah I wrote them down... but I need to find them... They codes were related to a engine malfunction and electronic throttle control.
Thanks for the temp numbers you mentioned, I have never seen any of my numbers go that high, and I have experienced 5 derates... Only 3 put me and the family in...
In June/July we did a road trip. Las Vegas, the Canyon, California Liquor shopping.
We derated and shutdown just outside of Tonopah NV, going about 75 mph, 4 people, 2 suitcases and a cooler... Dash lit up with drivetrain ane throttle control errors and vehicle slowed down to approx 30 MPH...
Two Thumb Salute ™... pushing the two arrow keys to active the fan is an awesome feature with the Tazer, but we still need more cooling power on those 95+ degree days.
Always remove the Tazer out of your truck before taking in for service...they cover that in the instructions for the Tazer as...
Didn't someone already do the hood removed, hood vent, grill removed drill? I thought that it yielded very little change in oil and coolant temps?Have to start re-reading... 59 pages is a lot.
Not sure if that was a real question, or if you were messin with me, but I can't not respond ;)
I think @biodiesel is managing the running list https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/official-2020-ecodiesel-oil-recommendations.29701/
