These guys are in my area. I've spoken to them in person. They seem more interested getting your cash overbuilding than doing sensible mods. Some people like them, but I'm definitely not a fan and don't do business with them.
'22 Mojave. No lift. 255/85/r17 (35x10) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT on stock rims. These were just before and during a week of camping and fishing different lakes in BC.
Love the narrow tires for this terrain, won't go back to 12.5 wide.
Disagree. I don't care for the look or function of overly wide tires that poke out. I used to, had a couple wranglers with 12.5 wide tires, but now it looks weird to me.

Yea for sure, if you're running 37s it's different. From what I can tell 12.5 is probably as narrow as you can go too. This is my first set of Mickey Thompson tires and I'm definitely enjoying them ?
Having run multiple C rated tires in the past I can say I hardly noticed a difference in stiffness with these tires. I've done multiple long trips with them quite comfortably (one was a 10 hour drive in December). Offroad, I haven't had any issue with the flex when aired down.
One area I can...
If you were asking about the MT Baja Boss tires, I haven't rubbed once and have now driven them on a wide variety of roads/off road. No plans for a lift. '22 Mojave.
I used the included aluminum skid plate. It is the same dimensions as the Rubicon skid and it mates up to the bumper properly. The Mojave skid plate is much heavier than the included plate and the mount point is a little lower. It would also require trimming to fit.
As for durability, if you...
Another option for a 35 inch tire is the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 255/85r17. If you like the wide tire look, it isn't for you, but it has advantages.
There was a slight power loss going to the larger diameter tire, but not much. I used Jscan to adjust the speedometer.
The weight is lower...
I wish I had taken this photo when I added the winch. I measured, but don't remember the numbers. It was very minimal though. Post the difference if you remember.
Sorry to hear that. A broken part would have been a lot of hassle and a 2 week turn around at minimum for me in Canada then. Too bad they can't replace such a small part.
As noted, it is the same plastic cover that comes with the bumper. I lined it up, scratched in some holes for the bolts and fairhead and then cut them out. If you aren't putting a winch on it works fine as well.
That Rubicon skid plate might be a good pick up for someone who has a Sport JL/JT...
