Mine went out around year 4. In my case (and probably yours) the fault is inside the steering wheel itself and not really accessible to fix. To fix it you have to replace the entire unit. Luckily I had an extended warranty plan that paid for it. I actually like the new one better; went from...
2020 owner here, ORP has worked for years, including yesterday, with no guardian service, and no cell service.
W/r/t 5g, my understanding of 5g is that it isn't replacing 4g, it's extending/enhancing 4g, since it doesn't cover as much range. So I don't think there is a 4g deprecation issue for...
The transmission itself pops out of gear, or the transfer case pops out of 4-Lo? I've had the latter happen a few times but usually only when I first shift in and don't get it really slammed in. I've never had it happen after moving consistently for awhile.
I'm also coming up on 5 years and probably should replace the batteries soon. But it does seem, I don't know... unlikely? to me that everything on the truck works perfectly fine except a heated steering wheel, and for that to be due to a weak battery.
Came here to search for this problem as well. I have the exact issue. Push the button, light comes on for ~1-2 seconds, then goes off. No heat to the wheel.
Anyone figured out what is going on? Clearly this seems to be a recurring issue for multiple users.
FYI I have a 2020 Rubicon, just...
In addition to what has been said, I think there is another potential reason for the slow-down in JT sales. Namely, there are a finite number of people who want a Wrangler with a truck bed stuck on the back. I'm one of them, as are most of you if you're on this forum. We had to wait a LONG time...
I went with JKS, but also used a shop that made a few other modifications in addition to the kit itself.
Note that if you go the JKS route you have four options on shocks, and the price changes dramatically. The J-Spec shocks that are the entry level are kind of crap. I have used both the...
Yup. Purchased Jan 2021, it was a GM Demo. Now has a 3" lift and 35s. 36,500 miles. No problems except I've got the hinge paint issue, will be taking it in asap.
This isn’t Jeeps show. NHTSA doesn’t care about length of time. There has to be a substantial change to exclude 2020s.
for comparison I just got a safety recall on a 2017 VW.
I live at 7600 but do up and down passes all the time. You guys have me curious to try out 91. Currently I have 35s, no special gearing (Rubicon 4:10), and I feel like it runs strong and fast up to the Eisenhower tunnel at 80+ mph, with 85 octane.
I will say I have a pedal monster which to me...
I've found the way to button map sway kill, but do you know if there is a way to permanently set it so that the OEM swaybar button is active up to a higher speed, like 45 mph?
I carry the one linked below. Has held its charge... but I've never needed to use it. Lots of good reviews.

If you look at the tire you are interested in on the manufacturers website, they will give you the recommended specs for wheel width. But, having said that, you can also ignore that on the borders.
I have 12.5" tires (35") on 7.5" rims, so you're going the opposite direction as me. You'll get...
I have the factory steel rear bumper. If I replace it I'm going with one of those rear bumper delete type things. That isn't the right term, but the ones that make the bumper almost flush with the tailgate. I don't think there are any off the shelf options but in the threads on this forum there...
