LOL, not today ATF man, I see you.
Possible? Anything is possible, but no.
Stupid idea? Well...
Does your rear springs look anything like your front springs?
If you are referring to Beasley Knob I think it has been a badge trail for a while. At least late 2023. It can be a difficult one too depending on past weather conditions.
Looks like you had a Florida experience for sure. Healthy Diamondback.
I feel the badge trail is not the best trail in Ocala NF. Why they picked it I don't know. If they would pull a little more maintenance and maybe widen it in some spots it would get more traffic.
Jumped on to late today and just seen it. I had to go into work for a minute this morning and then it turned out I didn't need to. Would have went with ya.
How was it?
Aliner build quality is about on par with any camper. It is hit or miss. Mine is a 2023 Scout. The wood veneer on the cabinets is paper thin. Everything is brad nailed together with little firring strips. I believe this is the same with all campers in this price range. There is definitely room...
I will be nice.
@Heavy D, I see you are in Live Oak. As a native of Florida I am familiar with the area as I once worked for the infamous Badcock Furniture.
Based on your area and demographics, what type of vehicles do your off-road friends drive? Do you not want to trust in their...
I'm also retired military and have a Sarge Green JTM. The wife would have a Sarge Green JLU if I had my say but I had to settle for Snazzle-berry. I do commend your wife for sticking to the same job for all those years; I had a hard time doing 20+ in the Army.
The Rubicon springs and shocks will provide a stiffer ride than your current components. Tires will affect your ride/handling also. I'm not sure what type you will get with Rubicon springs/shocks and Altitude stock street tires. It may be a little harsh.
If I was looking for a used Gladiator after owning two of them, I would take the following as critical must haves.
1. Mileage - listed one isn't to bad
2. LED Lights - doesn't have
3. Tire wear - listed one has aftermarket and can't really tell wear from pics
4. 8.4 Radio - listed has 7"
5...
I heard the same thing.
I also heard that the BFG KO2 that is stock on JL Rubicons and 392's are not built to the same specifications as the ones you would buy from a tire store. Who knows.
Can you tow the camper you are looking at buying based on the tow rating listed in the owners manual? Yes, yes you can.
Now for the bad news.
37" tires with 3.73 gear ratio pulling a 4000# camper.
Expect about 7-8 mpg
Expect you transmission to constantly stay in 3rd gear, maybe 4th if it's...
I started with my 2020 JT Rubicon on 35" tires and a Winnebago Micro Mini 2106DS, running at about 4000#. I did not like it and felt that my Jeep didn't like it either. Was getting about 9mpg and seemed like it struggled on any little hill. I don't know how you that pull equivalent or even more...
Give you a bump and here to say that is a good looking bumper.
There was a guy on FB Marketplace selling one in Orlando. He had it listed for $1995.00 It was on for over a year before listing came down. Don't know if he sold it but $1500.00 is a steal. GLWTS

Don't know how far you are willing to drive. They do pop up on FB marketplace often.
Let me clarify as this has been debated many times on here.
The JTR comes stock with plastic front bumper and a steel skid plate, painted black. I have one.
The JTM comes stock with plastic front bumper and a steel skid plate, painted silver. I have one of these too. These two skid plates are...
Thank you for the reply. My wife has the Mopar 3 piece steel bumper taken off a Rubicon. Now that I wrote that I remember attempting to install the Gladiator Rubicon stock skid plate that came on my JTR with plastic bumper and it wouldn't fit. The Mojave silver skid is the same skid on the Rubicon.
