I finally had my steering damper replaced. The part took a while to come in. I immediately noticed the steering felt tighter and more responsive. I have not had an opportunity to drive it on the highway in windy conditions but when I do I will provide my feedback of that experience.
Are you able to provide a list of all the service updates that were performed? I am curious to see what they are currently doing relative to front end steering
I picked up my Jeep yesterday at the dealer. They said everything checks out to spec although they ordered me a new steering damper. I have a 2021 and it has the steel steering box so they did not replace that item. The steering damper is on backorder so I will post again after that appointment...
I took 3 trips (2 hour highway time) in windy conditions and it was scary at times and I am not a driver that get intimidated by road conditions. Sweaty palms....not fun. I'll check tire pressure
The dealership just called me and asked to bring it in to look it over. He asked me if I have ever driven/owned other Jeeps before and I told him YES, and NEVER had any experience like this before with any of them. My appt is for Thursday this week so I will update the post with the response.
