Dang, better than perfect? You're lucky.
Apparently, our 18 JLUR has perfect steering as well, I guess we got lucky twice as I can understand this issue must be seriously frustrating

Is there a timeframe to have dampeners? My dealer says my order moved from arrival last week to arrival unknown.
I'm sorry, I don't have that information. We recommend staying in touch with your dealer for an ETA but if you run into any issues, send a private message. Thanks!

Thinking of putting an upgraded steering stabilizer on mine to see if it would help. I just don't know if I want to do the upgraded steering box and they end up doing a crappy job which gives me worse
I’m having a Steer Smart Yeti track bar put on mine. I’m having a 3ā€ lift done & that was part of the package. I’ve heard (YouTube) this takes the slop out of the steering on the Jeep gladiator so wind & other vehicles are less of a factor.

Sounds like you need a new lift and 37s  j/k. My 21 JTR felt squirrelly straight from the dealer. Chercked pressure and they were at around 42 psi. Installed Clayton Overland lift 3 days later then added 37s and problem solved. I'm running at 31-33 psi and feels perfecty comfortable doing 80 mph on the highway. Ony caveat, my mpg is at 13.5.
I’m having a 3ā€ - 3.5ā€ lift installed JKS J-Venture with a steer smarts yeti track bar for 37’s tires & 20ā€ rims. I think the track bar is the difference maker in tightening up the steering we will see.

Went to another dealer to get the dampener. Tired of waiting for my dealer to locate a part. Jeep cares says they'll cover the cost of the part. It seems like the dealer could have done better than me at finding a part. I've been in a dealer rental for weeks now.

Went to test drive / make offer on Mojave over the weekend. Got to test drive two of them.

Both vehicles were over inflated and aired down prior to test drive. The one I wanted and was going to make an offer on was all over the road. Told the guy this thing is not right.

Went back to the dealership the guy let me take another one out. Tracked straight with minor corrections with the occasional gusts. Totally opposite experience.

Was a fairly breezy day. Same tires. Seems like some vehicles just seem "off".

The rental glady I was driving tracked well. Also the 4wheel was smoother on those hard turns. I think your on to something.

I think that the issue --at least on mine-- is that it has like 20 degrees of steering wheel turn before it even starts to steer. not good.
EVERY other vehicle i have had you can keep semi straight tracking with simple, small steering wheel movement. These seem to take a LOT of wheel movement to do any steering.
For me, a BIG help to this issue would be to re-program them to have faster steering. this should be possible as its electronically controlled..

My 2021 Rubicon was the same and now with 4500 miles on the tires it isn’t as noticeable. I’m starting to think it’s these tires.

What tires are you running as stock?

Picked up my new Mojave at the dealer today and on the way home the truck wandered around quite a bit on the freeway and required a lot of attention to keep it in the lane. City streets at lower speeds was better but still not something I would want to live with. When I got home I found the tire pressure was 40-41lbs. I aired down to 38lbs to start with as I don't know how accurate my tire gouge is and around city streets is much improved. Tomorrow I have a freeway trip planned and am hoping it behaves nice.

We had 40 mph winds the other day and I took the new JTR out on the highway, 75 MPH on I-10. I found it to have more wind noise than usual but I had no issues with handling or instablity.

Got my Glady back from the dealer. Took a month. No more wander, no more jeep wobble after all the service updates and the Mopar 2.5" lift. Everything is perfect and aligned. Jeep Cares made it right. So if you have steering problems let 'em work it.

Are you able to provide a list of all the service updates that were performed? I am curious to see what they are currently doing relative to front end steering
