We just bought three identical new 2021 Gladiator Sport trucks for our business. One flashed the "Service Power Steering" code while still in the dealer's shop being made ready for delivery. The dealer couldn't determine the issue so they got factory technical assistance involved. They claim they cleaned connectors and replaced a "bad" relay and delivered it to us. With only 70 miles on the odometer it did it again, thankfully parked at our business, not out on the road. It will get towed back to the dealer tomorrow AM.

Does anyone know what the fix is for this issue? I've Googled the issue extensively and it frankly appears to be a fault without a fix.

The steering pump is electric, so it’s possible you got a bad one. I think I recall some JLs having loose fuses which caused that.

Sorry for the delay in following up. The "fix" this time was complete replacement of the PDU (Power Distribution Unit). So far no recurrence of the issue. PDU is essentially a fuse/relay block with logic.
