  1. Never use a tow ball for recovery.

I’d ditch that shackle and get a soft shackle if I were you. Hopefully they smoothed the edges out like the factor55 does. I won’t use hard shackles anymore unless I’m doing a double haul on my winch back to my front bumper shackles.
  2. Does anyone have any experience living inside a Jeep gladiator?

I agree with buying land and living on that in a camper. Also if you set it up right and have enough land there are so many people out there wanting to live in RVs(at least where I’m at in the PNW) that you could rent out a spot or two to people for $500 a month to help pay off the land.
  3. Ass end higher than front end after lift?!

Looks nice. I agree with the rake looks good. It’s how trucks are supposed to look. The lower back end look I never understood. Makes the truck less functional. Even if you’re not towing. Off road it can help with your departure angle. A gladiator weak point.
  4. wheel hop in fresh snow

Aired up to 32psi. This doesn’t happen when aired down.
  5. wheel hop in fresh snow

What’s everyone running for tire pressure when you get wheel hop? I get it in sand and snow when aired up to 32psi(daily driving) but when I air down to 12psi for snow and sand I eliminate almost all of this. I have the AEV lift on a JTRD and even asked the tech team at AEV about this and tire...
  6. Washington Teraflex 1.5” spacer kit and rear 3/4” spring spacer for sale

Have a teraflex 1.5” leveling kit with the bump stops for sale. Had on my truck for about 1,000 miles before I replaced with a lift. Also have a 3/4” rear spring spacers for sale. Would like $60 plus shipping for the Teraflex and make an offer for the rear. In the SW part of Washington so local...
  7. Electrical Issue?

I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the info!
  8. Electrical Issue?

How did this turn out? I have the same problem and I’ve seen two other gladiators with the same issue on the same side.
  9. Let's see those winter wheeling shots! ?

Having a winch in the winter sure is a back saver.
  10. What is everyone using to deflate / inflate their tires?

Do you have this in a diesel? If so where did you find space to mount it? Pics please.
  11. Let's see those winter wheeling shots! ?

There is no better time of year!
  12. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

That’s a sweet set up! Yeah I like to be able to lock stuff up in the back and the gfc is pretty light. I actually just moved across the river too! I’m in Carson now. Where ya at? I’m always looking for someone to go grit the trails with if you’d like.
  13. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

Got a Go Fast Camper being installed tomorrow. Hoping those overlanding springs do good work with it installed.
  14. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

That’s good to know about the shocks. For me I don’t spend enough time on washboards and have a go fast camper being put on and it’s a Rubicon trim. I think 35” would look pretty small on the lift but it would still look good in my opinion. For me I like the Bilstiens. Here is a shot on 37”
  15. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

I did get it. It provided about 3” of lift. That’s just a guess as I didn’t measure but its performance is outstanding! The ride was improved. Before the springs up front couldn’t handle the unsprung weight of 37” tires and would bottom out pretty adult as others have mention. Now I never have...
  16. Should I put some spacers lift or do a mopar lift?

Those part numbers are different from stock because they’re bigger. But if you compare the mopar lift for gas and lift for diesel they’re the same, correct?
  17. Should I put some spacers lift or do a mopar lift?

The springs are still the same when it comes to mopar. I put the AEV lift on my rubi diesel and I can’t say enough good things about it. Road driving has improved. Articulation is better. Not the best in sand as it’s a much stiffer overland spring. I would stay away from the mopar stuff...
  18. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

No I did not. I ordered online. They were good about it today when I called though. They had two kits to go out and they switched senders but are overnighting the right one today.
  19. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

So received my JTR AEV lift yesterday and they sent me all the parts for a JL. Pretty bummed about this. Ordered it through Rubitrux.
  20. Idaho AEV 2.5 Dual Sport Diesel Lift

I’ve been curious to the articulation compared to stock on these lifts. Have you tests out the flex much?
