ESS stopped working. The message light on my dashboard saying "aux switches temporarily unavailable, battery charging" is on most or all of the time. Been that way since 2022. I have not touched the aux battery, charged it, or tested it because I don't care. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't...
2020 Rubicon. My aux battery died about 2 years ago; never been replaced, with no impact on the rest of the vehicle. Start/stop inoperable, main battery is original.

I had a Range Rover Sport diesel that was a phenomenal vehicle, but it contracted the deadly incorrect DEF disease. First time, dealer replaced a NOx sensor, worked for about six months. Came back, Range Rover engineering said it was a bad cat converter, replaced. About a year later, came...
I bought the fronts a year ago. I never really used pockets in the rear doors, still a can of bug spray drooped one of those pockets, and got crushed when I closed the door last month. So I bought the rears two weeks ago. There was a coupon at the time -- it was either winter or holiday. It...

I re-used the plastic brackets that came with the light, and attached each bracket with very short machine screws to rectangular neodymium magnets that were pre-drilled with counter-sunk holes. Taped over the magnets to avoid scratching (and prevents the screws from backing out). Has been in...
Just to round out this loop. There was a break in the line. Seems likely that the body shop took off the bumper, and it is the culprit. I did also had a mouse nest in the truck a few months ago, but this looks to me like the body shop severed it with the bumper mount bolt, and then backed it...
Thanks Shadows. I was not clear on the prior post. I am using a multimeter. There is power to all other pins, all lights and blinkers work. Just no power to the constant current pin 4. I don't think they had the bumper off to do the body work. Was wondering if there is another junction...
Hi all. I have a 2020 Gladiator with the factory trailer harness. There is no power to the constant current (one o'clock) pin in the 7 pin receptor. I checked the two 30 amp hitch fuses (36 & 37), as well as the other trailer fuses (107, 109, 111) even though they appear to be for the lights...
The prevalence of Jeeps on Eastern Long Island truly is nutty. If I drive 10 miles, I probably cross 20 of them. I would say the wave incidence is under 20%; much higher if confined to decked out rigs.
