I still use Microsoft MaPoint 2013….it was a fantastic analytical tool that my company used back in the day. It’s getting dated, now, but still effective for a majority of my travel routing needs.
I tried 3 different map tools to plot my route, and all 3 gave different recommendations.
My company is going ahead with our national conference in Las Vegas, so I decided I'd drive, as I've been trying to get out to Nevada. Inherited my parents' home and I haven't been able to get out with a vehicle. Anyway, I added a rollup tonneau cover 3 weeks ago, a Hooke Road dead pedal...
Just discovered this club. Who new? I was researching spray paint to paint my just cut Gladdy Board, and this site popped as an option. Already on the forum, but now I'm truly among my own.
I just installed my new Tyger Tri-Fold this past Saturday (9/25). I got a bit stumped on the trail rail placement (with Mopar Tie Downs), but a quick view of RobmotiveJT video and got it on in a half hour. Sometimes a quick visual is all that's needed. Nice and tight, and so far, quiet on the...
Something tells me I'd better check my doorjamb, and my tires. My tires came from the dealership at 42psi. I haven't touched them as they hold that pressure day in and out. Warm up to 42, I may have seen a 43, and I've seen one or two drop to 39 in the morning.
Surprising post. Had SiriusXM in the Dodge Dakota I traded for my 2021 Gladiator and haven't noticed anything different...well, yes I have. In the Gladiator my radio starts immediately. On my Dakota, it would take anywhere from 30 seconds to several days to connect. Once it connected, changing...
Update: Thanks to the brilliant deductions from punk'n and sharpsickle that put me on the right track. I haven't had a start issue since receiving your inputs. Apparently I have a rather light foot when starting my Gladiator. If it's been recently started, i.e. Soft Pedal, then she stif it arts...
Pics? I thought there was a compression nut that had to be installed first, and that required a special tool to insert. Still weighing options to do my own. Considering just getting a Softopper and covering the entire bed. About the same price.
Yes…it cycles through the functions, then back to off. It hasn’t happened again this week since Tuesday. Next time it occurs I’m going to push the brake pedal harder and see if it starts then. I may end up taking it over to the dealer anyway…once it fails again and I can determine what makes it...
That’s a good place to start. Thanks. I tried remote start while sitting in the cab, the truck didn’t start from the key fob, but it did start with the next push on the Start button…so possibly related.
I appreciate the input…that’s what I was hoping for. Always helps to have another input...
I searched the site for starting issues, but none appears to match my scenario.
My Gladiator will often fail to start on the first attempt of the day…but not every day. There appears to be a related condition…the brake pedal is quite firm and doesn’t depress when the failure to start occurs...
Add me to the Philistine listing. I bought my Rubicon for towing capacity and as a potential daily driver...because JTRs just look so danged awesome. Once I saw the Snazzberry color I was hooked. Never considered that people were going to increase its off-road worthiness. That said...I may...
I had my first anomalous issue today when I went to start my Gladiator. I climbed in, put on my seatbelt, stepped on the brake and pushed the start button. The electronics wake up, and the start button advanced to Acc. Pushed the button again and it went to Run, still no start. The fob was in my...
I had my wife try them out. She can pull it up while seated in the front, and it tucks right under the seat (1st pic). More of a challenge for the rear. It fits under the seat, but hard to get it there immediately after use.
Cobbled together a quick solution to my wife’s entry into Snazzleberry. Ordered some stirrups off Amazon, along with some red vinyl strap. I already had brass grommets and a sewing machine.
It can be better, and I’ll probably take another crack at it. But it’ll do for now, and cost at least...
Thanks for all the replies. I read the Owner's Manual nearly cover to cover, but experiencing "Auto Park" for the first time is quite different than reading about it. I would have never found it in the manual as I interpreted my issue as a "failure to engage reverse gear" rather than a "We're...
I'm sure that many long time Jeepers already know this, but I was attempting to back my Rubicon in the driveway, and I could not get it into Reverse. P, N, and D all worked fine, but when I attempted to put it in R, the indicator light flashed, and the transmission would not engage. Tried...
