loving the jeep. hating the tiny tank and fuel MPG but i'm gonna crack it. i'm waiting to calibrate the speedo then try some other tweaks. if i read it right this ain't normal and yeah the best effort you'll get is from the work you do yourself.
and yes this is my current jeep. i got it new-ish... and took 4 months to uncover a painted over ground wire that was wreaking havoc with my electric and shorting everything out. something so simple and took ages to find and correct.
is there anything to be done to help mitigate this then. i'm new to the jeep way..... i'm digging it however yeah wanting to absorb as much info as i can.
also good to know. i'm gonna try that. yeah this low MPG has got me stumped. i need to calibrate the speedo try a tune and additive see where i end up. i mean with the tiny fuel tank which i wish there was an aftermarket fix for that also, yeah my range is greatly diminished.
awesome ideas. thanks for the info. i'll try to get a book and see what my investigation yields. i usually use 7-11 diesel however yeah i'm not a diesel aficionado.
i love the jeep just trying to delve into this gas mileage issue. i can try seeing about recalibrating the speedo. was gonna get a tune/chip on it so maybe that also would go together with helping to bring this issue to a close.
2021 Jeep Gladiator diesel on 37's getting 13-14mpg in city driving. wondering if there are issues anyone knows could be causing. drives fine. no issues as i know it, aside from tiny gas tank, reported fuel mpg is horrible.
your input is appreciated and yes i should think any mod could have a knock on effect on other parts and wiring. however one weird thing is that the backup camera wasn't working at same time this issue happened. their feeling is its a wiring issue for sure as they're seeing draw shedding but...
