  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed LED takeoff headlights. Got a great marketplace deal, $200 for the LED headlights out of a wrangler. My 2021 Willys had the necessary 4 pin headlight harness already in place. Installed pair of take off LED fender drls a couple of years ago. Jscan is my go to.
  2. What can we do for you?

Looking for inner hood latch/hook assembly. My hood was replaced this summer due to paint corrosion and I’m just now noticing the inner hood latch/hook is missing.
  3. Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, Shimmy, Wander, Drift, Bump Steer

My dad has a super duty that started a “shimmy” as he called it when hitting a rut. Ford dealership fix was a new steering stabilizer. Seems to be the universal cop out.
  4. Steer smarts shout out

In April I had a shop install a steer smarts track bar and drag link. I do like to collect mfg stickers but received none from the shop. I assumed had I purchased the items directly there would be some stickers included. This past Saturday I sent steer smarts an email asking if they could send...
  5. I’m new here - could be great…

This has been the most helpful forum I have been on. People gota learn to how to live their own life and weed though all the ridiculousness. The funny thing is today I added two badge of honors to my truck. I was not able to complete the trails so I put the badges on upside down. I bet some...
  6. New Jeep Gladiator Willy's owner- New to Jeeps

I would recommend looking into steering upgrades. I had a bit of a problem after 48k miles that required a new drag link. At that time I also swapped out my track bar. I went with steer smarts for both. Those two items really improved steering. In fact I wish I had looked into upgrading steering...
  7. Holy moly spring bow

This was a Sahara. I believe the Willy’s and rubicons have beefed up axles.
  8. Holy moly spring bow

Passenger side had the same outward bow. I did see an adjustable front track bar dull gray in color so I don’t know brand. The control arms looked like stock Mopar so my guess is that this was a 2inch Mopar lift. I mentioned the springs to the service advisor and all he said was don’t start. I’m...
  9. Holy moly spring bow

At the dealership this morning hanging around the service area. This wrangler is riding on 40’s so I thought I would see how they have built up the suspension. Not a pretty sight. I don’t know how this person is not having issues. Zero adjustable control arms.
  10. Clay bared and jet sealed.

Clay bar just the painted surfaces or plastic and hard top? Do you apply the seal to hardtop?
  11. Jeep Gladiator Corrosion TSB Disaster

Bleh mine goes back to the dealer body shop in June. New hood since the current hood repaint/corrosion fix has the bubbling coming back up. This time new hood and they need the jeep for two weeks to get the paint match correct. crossing my fingers.
  12. SteerSmarts drag link end forward/downward shift

Thanks simple fix. I figured twisting that end would jack my steering wheel up but that was not the case.
  13. SteerSmarts drag link end forward/downward shift

Does this need to be addressed? Several weeks ago a shop installed a steersmarts drag link as a measure to stop death wobble issues. I now have 1500 miles or so on this new drag link. I don’t recall the end looking like this when originally installed. I’m guessing I would need to twist the end...
  14. Hot Springs ORV park Monday 4/21

Visting some family in Arkansas and hitting Hot Springs off road park Monday 4/21. I'm staying roughly 2.5 hours away from Hot Springs but plan to be there around 9am. Not brave enough for much more then mild to moderate trails.
  15. Off road automatic…..manual mode or let truck decide

What’s the best practice for slow speed off road trails. Let the transmission decide the gear or manually select?
  16. New Gladiator: Best Advice?

Death wobble for me started at four year mark, 48k miles. The drag link ends were worn and became sloppy. I added taller front springs on the front to compensate for the bumper and winch weight. It was about a year after that I ran into DW. My gut says my minor mod had little to do with the...
  17. New Gladiator: Best Advice?

After a a recent fight with death wobble, I wished I would have spent my first bit of mod money on replacing track bar, drag link, and tie rod with beefy aftermarket. Not only has this solved my death wobble but the steering has gotten much “tighter”. Lift or no lift I would swap these out for a...
  18. Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, DW, Death Wobble, Shimmy, Wander, Drift, Bump Steer

Well so far so good with the drag link, track bar replacement. DW has not occurred and the upgrades have really tightened up the steering in general. The sector shaft brace I will probably buy and install myself before years end. Ball joints I’m hoping to do next colander year. At that point tie...
  19. Premium Alpine Stereo System - Speaker Upgrades

What would be the loss to do this upgrade but skip the knee speakers?
  20. Frustration with off road speciality shop shortcut

I think what happened is the tech tried to toque that nut down after installing the stabilizer. He probably did not have enough room to get square on the nut. Instructions were to install the stabilizer(loosely), snug that nut up based on where it sits. Remove the stabilizer, put the...
