I was thinking about using the bolts from the rear of the front seats to attach a d-ring to strap things down. Steel strap would also work well I bet. This way they are not "in the way" whenever I have passengers but always there to fold seats down and strap in gear and no drilling required.

If you order a soft top half doors are standard, they are also an accessory option, but they have been a standard option for years.
