You don't know how accurate the speedometers are on these vehicles though.....
A slight calibration difference by the user can result in exactly what you see here. And is also the reason nothing is ever 100% accurate when calibrating our trucks for things like this. Most people get 'close...
Could you take a quick break from replying to yourself and show your work? What's the calculation supposed to be if all the calculators are wrong? Chances are you simply have inaccurate inputs, as things like "37s" rarely equals a true 37" tire.
There's clearly a lot that you still don't...
A few people tested the "cooler temp" claim with the new grille and found no appreciable difference.
Which should come as no surprise considering others have run them with no grille at all and haven't had much change.
Would it be possible to do 2 in one spot, and 2 in another spot? It might be more trouble than its worth to try and do all 4 in the same place if you don't have to.
All due respect, but they're messing with you then. This isn't like MPG where there are more factors than you can account for in determining the number. Gear ratios are gear ratios. Based on what you have installed, one engine rotation will equal x driveshaft rotations, and x wheel rotations...
Then you're not reading my posts, because that is not what I have been saying:
Let's let this be. No need to argue over a simple clarification. I was saying these things to help others in the thread, not attack you.
Well, you are, whether you want to believe it or not. Not saying you didn't experience what you experienced, but the EVIC 100% can and will often show battery-related messages. @SargeDiesel already posted a picture of that very thing. Your choice to accept that or not.
I'm just here trying to...
Yes, I read this, and it's incorrect:
I'm trying to clarify what happens for those reading this thread as I can already see it's being misinterpreted. You've got OP thinking that since the EVIC isn't giving a reason for 'start stop not ready' that it immediately means the battery is the issue...
This information isn't accurate. It will tell you "battery charging" quite frequently. It doesn't need to get to the breaking point to tell you that, just a state lower than ESS's operational threshold based on IBS information. Once the IBS indicates the batteries have recharged enough, the...
Wow, $1,000 seems steep for that.
Considering how little is needed for the Gladiator top and how light it is, a simple pulley setup would be nicer in my mind, and much cheaper.
I'll admit that I'm spoiled as I've installed an electric winch in my rafters for loading/unloading things like RTTs...
So many questions that need answering here:
What was the determining factor that the main needed replacing?
Was the aux tested at that time?
How was this testing performed?
Was the main battery charged prior to install?
Was the IBS reset after install?
Have you attempted to read ant DTCs? If...
I mean isn't that what's being described here?
I think the problem here is we don't actually know what OP is receiving, just that he's upset and possibly misinterpreting something. This could all be a big ol' nothing-burger, unintentionally being made to look worse than it really is.
My...
That’s what I’m trying to get to the bottom of. It doesn’t sound like that’s actually the case. This very well could just be a Mopar offering, seeing as it’s coming in Mopar envelopes with Mopar letterhead, and it’s being misinterpreted.
It doesn’t seem that odd to me that Mopar might contract...
