Update: they’re starting the work on my truck. Service advisor just called to let me know I was correct - they had to order a new axle instead of just the seal 🙄 Luckily they ordered it right after ordering the seal, so they have it and are installing it this morning.

I’m hoping that’s what happens in my case. I kept questioning the service advisor, but she insisted the technician or “parts guy” said just the seal, & they would try that first.

I haven’t purchased any additional warranty. That’s why I questioned what the service advisor was saying. I haven’t heard of anyone else just having the seal replaced. I’m hoping @JeepCares can help with this.

Wondering if anyone else has had this experience: Just took my Gladiator in to have them verify the axle seal leak. They told me they ordered the replacement seal - not the axle assembly, because the warranty company wants them to try replacing just the seal first. Again, this is the right rear...

Looks like I’m joining the club… 2021 Sport S Max Tow, 10600 miles I just picked my JT up from having it undercoated, and the mechanic made a notation on my receipt to contact my dealer due to the right rear wheel seal leaking oil.

And…. It’s not working again 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just had this happen for the first time this morning. Started and put it into reverse and got the black screen of death. Restarted my truck & it came on after a few seconds.

I can’t tell, unfortunately. I asked my husband to look at it, and he agreed it’s a terrible design.

I checked my fuses, and all are seated. Played with the harness and pins a bit more with no luck. Guess I’m going to be making an appointment for service before winter 😢

I’m going to re-check them to be sure they’re all properly seated.

I’ll have to spend some more time on it tomorrow. I’ve read through this thread a few times already & appreciate the advice!

I’ve spent close to 2 hours playing with the pins. They all appear straight. This is so frustrating! 🤬

I’m working through this issue with my passenger door. No dome light when door is open, remote start won’t work, door lock won’t work & mirrors won’t work. I’ve been gently playing with the pins but no luck so far 🤬 I thought I was being careful when I took my doors off, but apparently not...
