  1. Leaking axle seal?

Mine started leaking at 200 miles. 2021 Mojave. Replacement at just over 1k miles. Have several hundred miles on replacement and zero leaks. Dealer had put my axle shaft replacement in “red” status ….whatever that means. As soon as dealer ordered I filed a Jeep Cares case. Showed up about...
  2. Leaking axle seal?

Put a few hundred miles on my replacement axle shaft and no leaks. My original started leaking at 200 miles. Will keep a eye on it but so far so good. @JeepCares helped get the replacement in timely and followed up several times after replacement to make sure no issues. I’m sure some folks go...
  3. Leaking axle seal?

Have you contacted Jeep Cares? As soon as I did they magically found one and the dealer had it 2 days later. No screaming. Just expressed my disappointment in the delay and the fact I saw others getting axles before mine. Sometimes going nuclear doesn’t get resolution. I was kind of shocked...
  4. Leaking axle seal?

Haha! Dealer sent it back and evidently it caused some sort of investigation. Right box and part number on outside…just a pipe inside. You know…it would have made an epic cheater bar with a story to go with it!
  5. Leaking axle seal?

Axle replaced yesterday. Finger crossed. Jeep Cares helped expedite getting the second shaft. I was the one who got the iron pipe in the parts box last go around. Shop did a good job cleaning up the leak. Hoping this fixes it.
  6. Roof leak in back

Saw this posted in the Gladiator Facebook group. Not my photos . You can see the crack on the left but if you zoom in you can see the one on right that goes from bottom to top. The 2nd and 3rd are another user as well from that group. Looks like stress cracking.
  7. Leaking axle seal?

MDH 112123 Still waiting on my axle shaft. I was the one that got the old pipe fitting in the parts box?. What is crazy is the drip has slowed. Fluid checked and at proper level.
  8. Idea on this issue? Leaking and lots of build up.

Looks like it’s this. Same deal with mine. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/leaking-axle-seal.42026/
  9. Leaking axle seal?

Exactly. When the tech checked mine it hadn’t lowered at all. Said exactly the above that it looks a mess but it is very little coming out. Maybe that pipe fitting they sent is the new upgraded part? ?. I really want to call my SA back and get the final story about it. That real part is on...
  10. Leaking axle seal?

Well today’s axle shaft installation was a bust. Tech opened the part box only to find a rusty cast iron pipe valve fitting. The exact weight of the real part. Box sealed properly. Something shady went down at the parts factory. Case filed with Jeep and part ordered again. Dealer handled...
  11. Leaking axle seal?

Just got the call my axle shaft is in. Drop off 7/30 for the repair.
  12. Roof leak in back

You might be the first 21 I’ve seen post about this. Could be wrong but I can’t recall any other 21s yet.
  13. Leaking axle seal?

Agree 100%. I was the first at my dealer a few weeks ago. I only caught mine due to this post. So minor I wouldn’t have seen it till I took off the wheel or crawled under there for something else.
  14. Leaking axle seal?

Got a call from the dealer that my axle back order was moved up to “ red status “ ……whatever that means. I laughed and asked if that was VIP status? He just said I’ll be next in line when one ships.
  15. Leaking axle seal?

Interesting. When was your first visit to the dealer for this? Still waiting on my axle but it has only been 3 weeks.
  16. Best Mud Flaps?

    Yep. No additional holes needed.
  17. Ultraflex Tonneau Cover *Update*

Thanks for reaching out @RealTruck. It showed up yesterday and I’ll get it installed this weekend. I did open it up and noticed that there appears to be a sealant used to assemble the panel frames vs the weatherstrip type material on the original one. Seems better assembled at first glance...
  18. Leaking axle seal?

Thanks. Seems like a bad idea to modify this vent and while it may be a short term bandaid it would seem to cause long term issues. Oddly enough my drip has really slowed down. Not worried about fluid level while I wait on the axle given the small amount that comes out.
  19. Leaking axle seal?

I did find the sales data/PR sheet for the rear vent. Looks designed exactly this way for a reason. https://www.gore.com/news-events/press-release/gore-automotive-vents-protect-powertrain-components-from-harsh
  20. Leaking axle seal?

Older (Feb 2021) post in the JL forum but similar vent issue others have talked about. Has anyone verified if this is how this vent is designed? No plans to mod mine and I have an axle on back order. Just curious about the breather vent construction in the rear vs the front...
